Both the Dual Screen and Power Combo have dropped even lower than my recent post

Thanks to skido for the coupon code tips including link to Qantas Frequent Flyer for some points.

There's also a 4.5% increased cashback via Shopback (drops to 2.4% after 10/11/22 at 11.59pm AEDT) or 5% at Cashrewards (thanks mr3v0), but it may not stack since the code is not listed by Shopback / Cashrewards. The cashback is probably worth ~$12 on the Dual Screen combo, ~$8 on the power combo.

Slightly more expensive price at Georges linked below too (thanks GermanKangaroo for the tips). Also, seems like Amazon has price matched the Dual Screen Combo at the last minute (thanks Tohnio).

If you purchased recently in Amazon, I just tried to ask refund on the price difference and they were happy to fulfill it for me. I did not ask for the further $10 difference using WESTPAC10 though as I didn't know about the code earlier.

NOTE: has gone down at d1store and Teds as well, I'd expect this to go down on most other stores in the coming days.

              @yeviisxc: I got refused on my first try. I tried the second time and said "can I get a refund for the price difference instead of returning the item". It worked and I got $66.61 refund.

                  "No price matching" blah blah.

                  even though I was claiming "my friends who bought the same product did" etc. They asked me to do a refund process and purchase the cheaper one from their competitor instead. Pretty suck if you ask me.

                  Might have a better chance if they dropped their price to compete against DigiDirect as well.. that way, it wouldn't be price matching but customer level price protection.

                      @bchliu: Just return it and buy it from digiDirect. Its cheaper anyway even if they price match it to $299 minus the $7 return post. Fun fact, you have until end of January to return it.

                          Aren't you dicking them around instead? They advertised the camera at a certain price, you willingly purchased it at that price, and later changed your mind. A store does not have to give a refund if a customer changes their mind.

        they say that in the terms but sometimes not always the case in my experience. no harm in trying
        code would be better for the power combo anyway, since it comes down to approx 5% off and its an instant discount rather than a 60 day wait

            Both have microsd card slots and boost battery life.

            I'd rather save $100.

      I think the top unit don't need housing up to 10m. But the combo attachment unit does.

      There's no minimum purchase for the coupon. I use it to buy the SmallRig case since I bought mine from Amazon and probably won't come with a free magnetic case. Not sure if digiDirect includes the free case.

              @eug: Yes but have heard cases that Amazon does not include them and people not getting any luck getting Amazon to supply it for them. Some have had to go to DJI to get a free one but not sure what's the success rate.

    IMO DJI Action 2 is an innovative but failed product
    Small body design leading to overheating issues and battery performance is bad
    Using non-standard shape and hook make it not easy to attach other in-market accessories

    DJI realised this and release DJI Action 3 which return back to DJI Action 1 form factor

    Thanks OP, good deal! Suits my needs for B roll footage on a mounted device/vehicle. Compliments my DJI Pocket 2 which ive mounted before on things, but with no splash proof or shock proof on that it makes me a little nervous using it in such use cases, so at a $190 price point for a mountbale camera with these specs, despite its flaws, its perfect for my needs!

      It records for 1 hour 37 mins at 4K30 at room temperature with no wind. The battery died.

      At 40 degrees with no wind it records for 17 mins 25 seconds. The GoPro Hero10 stopped at 17 mins 50 seconds.

    After owning the power combo (originally purchased for $600 when they first released) I've just gone and bought a second one for $189 (thanks op) I use the camera for its small form when I'm spearfishing/diving and have never had an issue with overheating (the water obvs cools the unit down). if anyone is into diving I can recommend this, may not be the best in terms of quality/time recording but I only ever go as high as 1080 (not as if I'm going to be watching the videos on anything bigger than a laptop) great for its small form factor. just my two cents.

        I did buy a a waterproof case for it, it says the camera is 10m water proof but having the case means I didn't have to rely on the magnetic connector to hold if I ever bumped it. The quality is great for me but I'm no expert, viewing on the phone/tablet/laptop at 1080 is perfect for me.
