Milwaukee M12 TOUGHSHELL Heated Jacket $99 Delivered/C&C/in-Store, with 2.0Ah Battery (Was $269) @ Total Tools or Sydney Tools

1010

Was looking into getting a power tool brand heated jacket part utility, part novelty of it. Was a bit pricey just for that though. Got a marketing email from Total Tools about a Milwaukee sale and I was surprised to see the jacket is now at a clearance price of $99, including a battery so it's a full working kit.

Blue: https://www.totaltools.com.au/clearance/181818v-milwaukee-12…

I thought it put on a very impressive, even if Todd didn't say so.

Edit: When I was checking yesterday delivery is still depended on the same stock checker, like they won't ship from interstate (from the look of it). So the OOS will only be for your area or state probably.

Thanks to LowRange for spotting same price at Sydney Tools but availability also varies for in store or delivery. Check both.

  • Anyone with size small, would like to trade a with size medium? in melbourne

  • Anyone still interested in these Sydney Tools had in store stock at Maroochydore of all sizes even though there was no stock showing online.
When I went to pay there was a bit of confusion as they said the jacket wasn't showing up as being in the store!
edit weird sizing though, I've tried on XL, L and M and the sleeve size seems to be the same on all of them.

  • Anyone with small (any colour fine) willing to swap with Grey Medium?

  • Sydney tools have these on sale again, this time you can grab most sizes online (not in-store only) with free delivery. There's also the camo version too newly added to BFsale!

    • You gave me some hope there. No smalls available for C&C or shipping. Instore only.

    • Camo version is the "quiet shell" vs "tough shell" in the OP. No idea if there's any functional difference beyond the former being quieter and the latter being harder wearing.

      • Beware the sizing between them are different. I got a grey toughshell L fits me perfectly, camo L is too small, camo XL fits me ok.

Camo one does not have pass through pocket for battery, might be an older model than the Black/grey/blue.

  • FYI: the item number on webpage may be incorrectly noting DeWalt jacket, which led me to a failed attempt to exchange in store..

Olivia from the customer service is helpful, hoping she'll be able to locate a replacement somehow.

Lot of bad reviews on Milwaukee's site for this. I'd recommend giving it a thorough test. In case of battery or jacket failure easier to get refunds or replacements early on.

  • XL arrived today. It's HUGE. If I wore enough clothes to pad that out, then wouldn't neeed heated top layer.

  • 17days and counting , non delivery yet …. Sigghh
