Used a number of event booking sites prior to visiting Singapore end of last month including Viator, Klook and Pelago. Saved alot with cashback offers and didn't need to join any queues. Wanted to let the Ozbargain community know that Pelago of the three mentioned charges you directly in SGD so use a credit card or debit card that does not charge any foreign fees. Safe travels.

    • That's odd. I just checked my past purchases on the amex and never paid any foreign fee. I always check out with AUD and get charged in AUD with no additional fee. I have used Pelago multiple times in the past and never noticed a fee for their website. Their promo codes work for any currency from experience. Did you check out and charge your card in SGD?

Just had a look at my internet banking. Was charged in AUD but there was a foreign fee included. Credit card used issued through Westpac. Westpac are very unclear with how foreign fees are charged. As mentioned booked activities with Viator and Klook without an foreign fees. I would say its because of the Ts and Cs associated with Westpac card used. I did get some Krisflyer Miles though on top of the reward miles gained through the credit card.

  • Hmm… no where to enter promo code? Looks like some deals are excluded.

    • You should be able to see the promo code box in the 'Booking Details' section, just after where you fill your name and details.

Hi! Just letting you know that the code has reached its limit, but this code GORED40 does the same thing :)

    • Awesome, thanks for the heads up :D

    • Looks like this is now gone too :(
