Just stumble over this while shopping for my holiday end of October. There are other decent deals for domestic and international as well.

Looks like there's an across the board sales for the same period regardless where you starting your journey from.

Sales period: mid Jul 2012 - mid Sep 2012 / mid Oct 2012 - mid Dec 2012. Exact periods depends on routes.

Other deals spotted:

Perth - Bali : $164.71
Perth - Sydney/Melbourne and vice versa: $238

    • How flexible are you with travel date/time?
Most likely you'll be able to change the date/time of your booking to another sales fare that are lower, you'll have to pay the change fee (unless your booking include plus bundle) but probably you'll still in the plus, after they refund you the fare difference.

      • +1

I'm pretty sure you dont get refunded fare differences if you change. And I'm pretty sure you cant even change to a sale fare price anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong.

        • +1

I've never done it personally, i.e. changing from a higher fare to a lower fare, but I would understand the "fare difference applies" as in: if the new fare is higher, you'll pay the fare difference, if the new fare is lower, they'll refund you the fare difference.

If anyone ever tried, I would love to know if they're refunded or not.

      • No the price fares wouldnt be less than what you have already paid.
it might be 0.00 difference for those sale flights, which means still needs to pay for modification fee.

  • isnt this a dupe?

    • dupe to?
