  There is a place for both. You need to understand the tech and environment that it's for…
  
  I have an OLED a90j and recently got the 90b to replace it in my new place as my main tv…why? the conditions are different and the 90b will serve me better.
  
  The a90 is now in another room.

From my research on this model, the issue that a lot of people complain is the ‘blooming’ effect can be annoying for some.

This means when there’s a huge contrast say showing the Moon on a dark sky, you’ll tend to see a bit of glow around the moon rather than a clean contrast.

It is a mini-led TV actually. Thus no better or worse from OLED according to RTINGS.com
Actually, currently the best mid-high range TV of all models.

I think this tv is definitely a good choice if you mostly watch during the day time or in a fully lit room.
But you can probably do better than this deal in terms of price/screen size.
