AMD P2 Respirator Masks 50 Pack $89 Delivered @ Respirator Masks

1060
  • Go all the way through to checkout and it'll drop the price to $89. That's only $1.78 per mask delivered!

Hey guys received an email from this great guy that sells a great product. I'm a fan and I've started wearing them again today.

Saw the news from South Australia today.
SA’s Chief Medical Officer Nicola Spurrier said masks were now encouraged in indoor areas with high volumes of people, amid a spike in Covid-19 cases across the country.

Basically everywhere around the country cases are doubling on a weekly basis. These are the only masks I use. Can't necessarily claim a connection but all 4 members of my household wear them - thus far no covid symptoms ever. I personally believe these masks have had an important role to play in my familys covid free status to date.

If you want great masks, consider these. If you want to talk politics, maybe consider Twitter. :)

Hi seamonkey

Hope all is well with you.

We would like to offer 1 box (50 masks) for $89 delivered (standard post).

This is our lowest price ever to the ozbargain Community. If the commentary is correct about the possibility of another outbreak, this is a goodtime to take pre-emptive action. The offer is limited to 7 days.

Kind regards
Joe
Director

        • And they offer you a safer mask?

Remind me an incident last year when i went to see a GP. I had this mask on but the receptionist insist i put on a "proper" mask before see th Dr. She was then offered a blue surgical mask !!!!

          • @timhn: These felt too thin and the seal wasn't that great.

Most of us preferred the 3m Aura or the those yellow duck billed masks,

Being a mask supplier for the Olympics doesn't guarentee safety.

These wouldn't provide an adequate seal around the face and therefore don't provide a high level of protection.

Are they better than surgical masks? Sure. But that's about it. I've fit tested these masks so can verify.

        • Yeah we liked them on site, but we could feel they weren't as safe as the other brands.

          • @gccmelb: well, don't keep me in suspense… what other brands?

  • HODL!

Has anyone tried both these and the P2 Masks from PPE Tech (50 masks currently $80 with free shipping: https://ppetech.com.au/collections/p2-face-masks/products/fa… ), and have any opinions on comfort or fit?

I'm towards the end of my PPE Tech ones and have found them to be quite comfortable (as long as I don't use the plastic clip to tie it behind my head), but I'm forever fighting the nose clip (probably my fault).

    • PPE tech ones are comfortable to use, the ear loops are a little bit tight so if you have a big head you might need to use the clip which is a bit finnicky

    • I found PPE tech fine whilst I was on holidays. Ear loops a bit tight but I maybe have a bigger face.

  • These are good masks. Still going through my first box but will buy again once finished.

I accidentally bought these large sized ones with head bands initially (https://www.australianp2mask.com.au/product/amd-nano-tech-p2…) but they're too big for me :(

this thread shows lots of otaku in this forum

  • considering all P2 masks have to been tested, certified and licensed - the pricing on these is absolutely crazy. A box of 50 P2 non valved masked will cost you around $3 straight from the manufacturer - add shipping, duties etc - so say 20% - you can see how much these companies are gouging people - its amazing how many "respirator selling" companies covid has created, yet from a manufacturing perspective, that level have remained the same.

Except these are made in Australia, people want higher wages but yet as consumers themselves don't want to pay for Australian made… the irony. Labour cost in Australia is at a ridiculous level, when a labourer on a worksite asks more than $50 an hour it is not sustainable.

      • My point being, they are made to a standard and tested/licensed - which country they are made in, has no bearing on performance

        • As long as you trust the standard has been actually tested and met and not just stamped on the box because it sells better.

          • @roughana: The license number will be displayed, which you can look up - ensure that it corresponds to the brand.

  • I have a few m3 valved masks from 2 years ago, do masks expire?

    • From studies done for mask shelf life these should be fine. If it's more than 7 years then it may be time to bin them.

    • As long as they were sealed, no

    • Don't use valved masks. Masks should be used as two way barrier, if you are infected then you are breathing out particles to others.

Keep your valved masks for home improvement tasks. If you are going to wear a mask out in public don't wear a valved one.

  • I was really happy with the last box I bought of these, the are finally almost gone. They are the most comfortable N95s I've found for my head. Good time to rebuy!

I'd buy black if we weren't heading into summer - don't want to attract any more heat to my face than I have to…

    • This is great to hear. I'm sure the seller would really appreciate this great feedback. I know he is reading these comments. Great to see plenty of positive comments.

  • So are these proper N95, and how different are they to KN95?
Can these be worn more than once?

I am absolutely no expert. I'm just a random ozbargainer. But you may like this….
      https://smartairfilters.com/en/blog/whats-difference-between…

I wear them plenty more times than once. My self justification is sometimes I'm doing something whereby I have it on for 10 minutes. My general rule and Im certain it would be terrible advice …but when I feel I have easily had my $1.78 worth of value out of the single mask - out it goes for a freshie. Usually that happens at the end of day 2 personally speaking.

    Thanks OP!
Great masks - we just finished our box from our last order with you guys.
Love that you have the black colour available now.

    • Cheers man. Seller told me he is looking at the comments here, so he will be thrilled to hear that feedback. :)

  • I checked the AMD site and they also have pink, anyone know if this place sells the pink ones?

Also there’s no affiliation with AMD ryzen right?!

    • +1

Seller hasn't mentioned pink to me before so I'd say it's unlikely.

Zero affiliation with AMD Ryzen :)

    Thanks for this

These masks are great, we used these at work

    • Agree and same :)

  • Is the Standard size referred to here, the small/med or the large/med referred to on their blue packaging?

    • During the last sale…seller said this :

      Hi Ozbargain community

Size is called Regular (EP 26) which is medium to large. We do not have the smaller masks (EP 24)

      Hope that helps.
