AMD P2 Respirator Masks 50 Pack $89 Delivered @ Respirator Masks

1060
  • Go all the way through to checkout and it'll drop the price to $89. That's only $1.78 per mask delivered!

Hey guys received an email from this great guy that sells a great product. I'm a fan and I've started wearing them again today.

Saw the news from South Australia today.
SA’s Chief Medical Officer Nicola Spurrier said masks were now encouraged in indoor areas with high volumes of people, amid a spike in Covid-19 cases across the country.

Basically everywhere around the country cases are doubling on a weekly basis. These are the only masks I use. Can't necessarily claim a connection but all 4 members of my household wear them - thus far no covid symptoms ever. I personally believe these masks have had an important role to play in my familys covid free status to date.

If you want great masks, consider these. If you want to talk politics, maybe consider Twitter. :)

Hi seamonkey

Hope all is well with you.

We would like to offer 1 box (50 masks) for $89 delivered (standard post).

This is our lowest price ever to the ozbargain Community. If the commentary is correct about the possibility of another outbreak, this is a goodtime to take pre-emptive action. The offer is limited to 7 days.

Kind regards
Joe

Are the masks individually wrapped or do all of them come in 1 plastic bag inside the box?

    • +3

      Individually wrapped.

  • +1

what size are these? aussiepharmadirect have choice of size - I prefer the newer bigger sized ones.

I ordered the last batch from you guys and go the older smaller size.

You may be charging cheaper - which is great! But… there's no choice on sizing which sucks.

    • +1

During the last sale…seller said this :

      Hi Ozbargain community

Size is called Regular (EP 26) which is medium to large. We do not have the smaller masks (EP 24)

      • +1

That sucks for pepople with smaller faces…. need more EP 24's

        • I must be doing something wrong. Few in my family with small faces including a 9 year old..E26 fits them perfectly for some reason.

          • @seamonkey: Difference bone structures or race.

            Stock EP24!! :)

The main AMD website has them, however when I bought from them I didnt know they had new sizes and got stuck with the EP26's and yes it's the same however the chin area is bigger thus kinda useless for a mask…

            • @Turd: I'm just a customer that purchased in the past and told seller about ozbargain as he was curious. I originally phoned him to see if it was a legit company as I was about to purchase a fair few. Just found a top bloke at the end of the line. You are right - mask fit is important, you need to try them on to get the right fit before those larger purchases. Everything you said was right. I know seller will read these comments so he will certainly have opportunity to take in your feedback. Cheers @Turd

          • @seamonkey: By perfect fit, do you mean fit tested to ensure no leakage? Ear loop masks don't meet niosh n95 standards because they consistently fail fit testing, so a medium sized adult ear loop mask fitting a 9 year old face sounds interesting. Do they fit the 9 year old's face with a tight seal?

    • good question. sizing is important to get the proper sealing and fit

  • I’m still going through my 1st pack from last year, I rate these masks.

    • +1

I agree. Glad you like them. Never met the seller but it's a family business, I understand some of the older teenagers play a part in the process and fulfilment so I particularly like supporting what they are trying to do.

      • +4

i mainly just wanted to not get sick, but its a nice bonus if you're also supporting Australian industry

79 delivered with voucher here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/165403992333

    • +1

Spoke to seller to make them aware. Family business unable to get down to that level. I explained that seller on eBay is getting virtually the same price, just a portion of it is absorbed by a eBay voucher/subsidy. Only thing I can say is it's Western Australia delivery Vs inner Sydney, it's possibly old stock and with a feedback rating of 98.1% which is pretty low for eBay. 1 in 50 customers don't appear to be happy with their purchase. Otherwise, I wish them well. :)

    • Think you guys made that mob OOS

      • Yeah it is slightly cheaper, I got 2 boxes for 150 stacking some other coupons. As long as it is genuine I am happy :)

        • Hope it works out. Their feedback makes me a little nervous, I think it'll work out ok, hope so. Hope you did PayPal, might be a good backup plan.

How much FPS will i gain by wearing an AMD mask while gaming?

    • It's about 3 fps additional, but you have to have an AMD CPU and a Radeon card for it to work

States that report cases individually are conspiring to reelect Dan? Including Liberal party of NSW and Tasmania?

      • +2

So easy to shoot these silly comments down

        • +1

          It's slightly frustrating.

The fact they feel the need to comment. If I didn't want a product, I'd just move on - but no, they need to drop by on every single mask, RAT, sanitiser, covid connected occasion. Check out their comment history. Always prolific.

I couldn't care less about what they say, I feel for the seller that doesn't make a fortune from these - he isn't the manufacturer that's making the real dollars. He is an authorised seller trying to support his family and simultaneously teaching his almost adult kids how to run a small business

Time and time again, here they are, helping us see the path. Apparently we need to not do what they (science, medical, government) tell us to do and instead get on board NOT doing the things they (random cooker) tell us we shouldn't be doing. Or we can live rent free in their heads as they keep posting edgelord comments, sheep emojis, anti COVID-19 RAT test remarks. They need to just break out the Ivermectin if that's what they want to do. For them, covid or no covid, 'doing anything you want' is already full schedule - given their preoccupation with educating the masses. I Thank them for their service.

They'll keep searching and burning time commenting on these covid posts. They need to make their cowardly women assaulter Avi proud after all.

          • +1

            @seamonkey: Yeah I get you.
The real conspiracy in all this is how easily these people are manipulated, yet they are clueless to see it

            • +1

@slipperypete: Social media needs to take it's share of the blame. When I went down the rabbit hole for a look I was absolutely sickened. People set up websites for $1 with official sounding domains - just enough to make many think they are real sites. Then of course everything on the 'site' is a fact. They also can't see the big picture. I'm happy they are fit and in their early 20s. Yeah sure, you won't have much concern when you catch covid. We aren't all of that age. Many of us fight daily for parents that are right in that sweet spot. Not elderly, but at high risk. The obnoxious youth (many young people are awesome) are no assistance in our day to day existence so they think their situation is a cookie cutter for the rest of us. I have to fight daily for family members who are much younger and because of disability they can't fight for themselves. That's why the narrative is bordering on distressing. I respect others have completely different opinions. I speak so highly of ozbargain, then you see a spate of what seems like Avi inspired teams try to own the lefties. I just don't understand why the need to hunt posts. Don't buy. Move on. Simple. Instead it's right wing crazy talk and freely throwing around words like retard used in a way that is meant to invoke a reaction. Been a few times I've been ultra close to leaving this site for good as it gets infiltrated by more and more Twitter like conversation. ozbargain peaked in around 2017.

              • @seamonkey: I'm studying information bias and media manipulation.
Has been a thing for ages! These people would have been hunting and killing Jews back in the 30's and 40's, getting totally sucked in to their 'fav' source of media.

Just as an example, the anti-climate lobby is funded to around one billion dollars a year. No need to mention who funds it. Not a single paper has been released to deny climate science from this money. So where does it go? Into think tanks designed to manipulate media and sympathetic media sources and political donations. Huge teams are set up to design information that these types of people will fall for.

What has happened with Climate media denial is just a copy of similar issues that you mention. They are being used and manipulated in such an easy way.

I'm sorry to hear the difficulties you have had with the family and the mentality and selfishness of some people is outstanding. My uncle died in hospital after catching covid (yes he was sick but didn't deserve to die). He caught it in the early days in the UK from an anti mask/vaxxer hospital worker who also spread it across the ward. This was before a mask mandate was put in place

                • +1

@slipperypete: "These people would have been hunting and killing Jews back in the 30's and 40's, getting totally sucked in to their 'fav' source of media."

                  Who are you referring to?

The only persecution along those lines I've seen in the last 3 years is that from the masses and the politicians who were following the totally discredited 'pandemic' narrative. And as you brought it up there were a few Holocaust survivors who did their best to alert people that this was exactly what happened to them 80 years ago from the German government. Nobody listened, nobody cares.

"He caught it in the early days in the UK from an anti mask/vaxxer hospital worker who also spread it across the ward. "

And of course you have the medical reports that prove this was spread around by an unvaxxed worker to your already sick uncle. What did they treat him with in the hospital? Remdesivir? A respirator? Please send the reports on to the government as I've been asking such verified information for 2 years and they haven't been able to supply any.

FTR my VERY sick and elderly unvaccinated mother got the covaids back in July, the doctor told us she had only a week or 2 left and we had to make palliative care decisions. In the end she pulled through and is as healthy as ever (for her anyway). I'm not sure how many people actually died FROM the covaids as opposed to those who died from other causes but WITH a positive PCR result (around 3-5% of reported numbers "possibly' going from government figures around the world)but if it couldn't knock mum over in her ondition then you'd have to be almost dead anyway to succumb to it from what I've seen.

Neg away, who cares? I'm just sick of the continued lies especially after the confirmed government, medical and scientific data that's come out this year proving that once again, the 'conspiracy nuts' were right.

                  • @EightImmortals: Think about it, locking people up in hotels is much like concentration camp, I fail to see any difference, those people and the community as a whole would have been better off being able to go to their homes

                • @slipperypete: The best immunity is to have COVID ! Glad you like your masks so much because we'll be heading for more restrictions, natural immunity isn't following "the science" apparently. But wearing masks is , when in your lifetime have you ever heard such rhetoric from unelected mouthpieces. How about following the facts….

      • -1

Don't act shocked when it happens

  • +2

Can't necessarily claim a connection but all 4 members of my household wear them - thus far no covid symptoms ever. I personally believe these masks have had an important role to play in my familys covid free status to date.

No I don't think you can claim that connection as you said. My family havnt worn a mask in well over a year and none of us have had any Covid symptoms

    • +2

Nice. I am genuinely pleased to hear that. 🙂

        • +3

Fewer people wear masks than don’t, maybe you are the sheep. Did that blow your mind?

          • -1

@em: People only wear masks to hide their identity, or because they believe it's a fashion accessory

            • @lonix: I wear a mask to neither hide my identity nor do I believe it is a fashion accessory.

          • -3

            @em: no worries sheep

Have bought from these guys before and have done so again. The masks themselves are great and happy to pay a bit more for Australian made

    • Awesome to hear. I know from speaking to seller you are supporting a small Australian family. Fact he is an awesome bloke just makes it even better news. Hope you continue to enjoy their product.

    • Me too. Accidentally ordered more than i wanted because im a clutz and, and they were prompt in amending my order. Highly recommend for product and their customer service.

  • +1

Still going through my box that I bought last time. These are great. Wish they came with the little hooks so you can wrap the string around your head so they're more comfortable for long periods of wear, but I have quite a few accumulated from old ones so it's not really an issue. I'll definitely buy again when I run out.

    • That's interesting. N95 requires those hooks or head straps. Wonder if P2 is inferior then.

Why do I have this strange feeling that OP is somehow connected respiratormasks.com.au and AMD?

    • +5

@djbst Would very happily disclose that if that were the case. Check out my ozbargain profile, I've been a member for almost 14 years.

I gave owner my number when I phoned him on my first purchase to see if he was even a legit company (as I planned on getting quite a few masks). He answered all my questions. He had questions about ozbargain. Every so often he sends through a message saying he wants to offer a discounted price to ozbargainers. I oblige. He is proactive. He is a family guy like me and we have spoken on the phone a couple of times. We live in different states, we have never met. I don't make a cent from these posts.

      • +3

I can't put my finger on it, but your attachment to this seemingly strange person/company to you is a bit odd.

You know he's a family guy from "just two conversations" over the phone; you know he's reading all these comments.

You probably are not making money, but the whole thing looks a bit fishy. That's all.

        • @djbst What you likely can't put your finger on is the fact that I'm pretty different. It really just comes down to the fact that he asks me. Anytime I've posted it it's because he has asked - if any other seller were to ask me I'd do precisely the same thing. I don't really know sellers otherwise though.

I also can't quite put my finger on what you are saying - I haven't got a clue why someone would hide an affiliation. I simply don't see the purpose in that.

The background was that he had a working relationship with AMD which allowed him to become a registered seller. I don't think he has as many pathways to the market as you likely would expect most sellers to have. He operates this from his residence.

I'm ok with it looking fishy because like I said, 14 years here with comments throughout all those years and then suddenly, I inject myself into the long con of getting masks into the post? I'd do it again if he were to ask me down the track and frankly I'd do it for anyone that asks. I just feel that attitude makes for the best possible version of ozbargain.

For the record, I can swear on my on my wife and 2 childrens lives - I have never met the seller, in my life, we have never worked together in any capacity, I have never earned a single cent from masks in my life. I don't know if it's possible to be more convincing than that. We just have to agree to disagree. You think I'm fishy in some way. Cool. With respect, I find you harping on about some non existent conspiracy equally unusual.

        • @djbst

And here is our origin story. I'll be completely honest - this site really shits me sometimes, years ago there wasn't all this suspicion. People believed each other's comments. Maybe that was another quality that covid weathered over time.

          https://imgur.com/a/ykiJ9Rc

Updated to remove my name. If you want to see the conversations I had with an ozbargain mod in order to help this guy out after he jumped through so many hoops to prove himself to this buyer (me), then I'll happily share those.

  • +1

would be nice if they offered the headband version and the option to choose the sizing fit

  • +1

These were rejected at the hotel quarantine and drive thrus by I worked at.

    • +2

Hard to match that with the fact they were the official mask supplier to the Australia Olympic and Paralympic Teams in Tokyo 2021. Was there a possible logical reasoning to that decision you witnessed? Such as they had actually sourced fakes?

      • +1

No they weren't deemed safe enough.
