Keep buying these on sale but my wish list keeps growing waiting for sales….

Crossing fingers Black Friday has some great eShop deals.

I go for the NSO vouchers after buying discounted Ecards.
Good overall stacked discount for AAA's if you prefer digital.

I think at the moment until January they are offering double gold coin cashback too.
EDIT: Ah, that might only be if you're on the Expansion pass.actually.

      • +1

Yeah I buy them regularly, but already have one game on preorder and I'm waiting for Zelda to be added.

Got my EB to match Target's catalog last week with this deal. The manager was like 'I didn't know you could get a discount off a currency."

I only ever buy them at 10+% off..

    • Manager, lol. Obviously not great at their job.

Obviously someone is living under a rock

Buy 10% off cards at Big W, use for discounted eShop at EB. Winning.

    • Can you use a gift card to buy the eshop at EB? Target wouldn’t allow it

      • +2

Yes, unless they changed it recently.

      • +3

Eb games even allows you to buy gift cards with eb games store gift cards. Other eftpos/visa giftcards will definitely work.

      • +3

Target does allow Flybuys dollars to purchase these FYI

    • I only there was a Big W anywhere near me!

    • Can you stack with Big W and use the Nintendo eShop card to buy an actual Switch? Would give a nice 19% off :)

PS: I'm in the market for an OLED model and hoping for a Xmas < $400 deal

      • You can't buy physical products with an eShop card.

        • Pity. Would've been great. Oh well, I'll keep looking out for a deal.

  • Can this stack with $10 perks?

      Different retailers mate
This promo is from EB Games, not JB

And to answer your original question, no

Coupon redeemable on purchases excluding Telstra & Foxtel Services, Miele & Asko, Dell & Apple Built To Order, Prepaid Cards & Gift Cards

      • +2

lol thanks for the clarification :)

  • Can I still use this for 3DS?

    • You should be able to, as this just adds credit to your Nintendo account.

Note: 3DS eShop will close March 27, 2023.

    • As of August 29, 2022, it is no longer possible to use a Nintendo eShop Card to add funds to an account in Nintendo eShop on Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. However, it will still be possible to redeem download codes until March 27, 2023. This is a quote from the shut-down notice

      • +2

Just an FYI you can still redeem on Switch and then use those funds on 3DS/Wii U.

      • 'add funds to an account in Nintendo eShop on Wii U or the Nintendo 3DS'

        On the consoles you can't.

Since they linked the accounts before, it should be OK.

      • Can confirm once your account is linked, can redeem card via the Web for use on 3ds and Wii U.

  • just in time. needed to stock up!

  • Bought some yesterday :(

    • refund, hahahaha

  • Would cost more in petrol driving to EB Games than what I would save on these

  • so how much could I save if I use $60 gift card bought from bigw with 10% off to buy $60 eshop card at EBgame?

    • +6

      Yes

    • +4

You'd spend $54 at Big W and have $6 left on an EB Games gift card you don't know what to do with unless you spend more money in their store.

    • +4

I just got $100 from big w ($90 paid), then purchase two $60 eshop card from ebgames, paid $8 addition from my card.

      $98 for $120 eshop credit.

Couldnt work out the math and was lazy enough to suck it up
