Well. It's quite a day yesterday and as far as I can see, it's a promotion that had gone very wrong due to "technical difficulties". Everyone opening 20 windows trying to access the site at the same time is definitely not helping the situation either.
I guess you guys have already done enough damanges and I am closing this thread now. For me, there's nothing that I really want so I did not feel missing out — just fascinated by all the drama around it. Somehow I feel it is a bit "unfair" for Catch of the Day from some of the comments I have seen here, but I also feel for those who have wasted their day waiting on a spinning hourglass (or beachball, depending on your operating system of choice).
Catch of the Day will probably be temporarily banned from OzBargain due to excessive negative votes (part of the blacklisting algorithm).
