  • Shame it isn't the linear variant, I have the g915 and would take a wired spare for whenever this one dies, excellent price

    Why was the deal changed, it was listed as Amazon? I clicked the link and ended up with zip pay deal

    • Cause eBay is a lot cheaper. I'll fix the rest of the post now.

      • Yeah I get that and thanks for the reply, but I actually wanted the Amazon link from the deal the was posted. I have no interest in a credit check to save $20.

        Felt very weird having the deal switched out.

          Sorry about that. I didn't want to remove the Amazon post altogether. I just had to wait for the mods to change the main store so I could edit it again.

          • @ozbs25: No worries :)

            • @Oxxy: I don't know how many can take advantage of the Zippay price but I imagine quite a lot of us should be able to use the other code at eBay to get the $141.75 price.

  • Are these the loud ones? Which ones should I get to get quiet ones?

    • +1

      linear would be the quiet ones, equal to cherry reds
      tactile == browns

    • This is the clicky variant, so quite loud. The stereotypical mech keyboard noise.

      It does depend on your typing style (whether you bottom out or not), but generally linears (eg. MX Reds, Blacks) may be slightly quieter than tactiles (eg MX Browns).

  • If anyone can come up with a better title please let me know, or edit it. 😇

  • I used to have this model for office and home, both linear and tactile was great.
    One thing you should know is this keyboard's keycap is ABS, but this particular keycap is quite flimsy, easy to break down and coating would gone away.
    but this has proprietary switch(similar to kailh lp but housing is different, so you may not available to find replacement pbt keycaps (kailh genuine lp keycap would work, but you need to pile individual keycaps). only thing you could do is contact logitech center or buy copied products from chinese online shops.

  • If its not linear dont even try it

      ? What's wrong with tactiles? Unless you're talking about only Logitech's line up and not switches in general
