        Just live chat and acted confused why it was cancelled and now has doubled price.

        They will feel bad that you dont understand price errors and pay you for your devotion.

    • I got $50 credit for items sold by amazon.com.au only.. not for use with UK orders so i cant try and re-order this nvme drive … took me around 15 minutes… they wouldn't give me anything but "sorry we wont let this happen again" until the end of the web chat when they asked if there was anything else they could do for me…. i said can you sell me the item for the $88.29 price.

      They said no and offered the $50

        • I think what got it for me was trying to get them to "price match the crazy low price deal" the closest they could get was the $50 credit added to my account that i accepted. ( i did try and order two drives yesterday though so maybe that had something to do with it too )

    went to online chat got offered to refund the discrepancy between new price and 88 = 104 for a replacement order.

      Also went on chat. Got asked if I want to re-order and said yes. Was offered to be reimbursed for the difference ($108.14) in promotional credit as one-off exemption if I re-ordered on the original price.

      • Geez, they only reimbursed $50 as promotional credit towards my account after I re-ordered it with new pricing.

  • chat with 5 different persons, cant issue any promotional credit or reimburse differences.

    the reason given was "After checking, I see that the order you have placed is sold and fulfilled by Amazon UK, global store on amazon.com.au (http://amazon.com.au/) website which is unable to fulfill your order.

    The reasons could be that the Fulfillment Center assigned/from where the product ships in UK, is not delivering the products to few particular addresses

    Amazon UK have issue while shipping this item and going down the line the item might be removed from our website for the same reason. In this case, we cannot assure you if the product would go through."

  • Just wondering, bought one of these recently and has anyone experienced using them in a laptop? Or would they get too hot? No room for a heatsink.

    • My sn850 died after 5 months in a laptop, not sure whether it's just a lemon or the heat

    After chatting with Amazon, they offered me "reimbursed for the difference" after I received my order.

    Not a bad solution.

    • Tell them you want the item for the 88.29 you paid for it.. they will then maybe give you credit after trying to give you that price but failing.

    If you had your order cancelled, you can probably still get it for the original price if you talk to the right rep on live chat with Amazon support. I tried my luck with about 7 before I met one that was willing to refund me the difference in price ($166.11 - $88.29 = $77.82) if I reordered.

    I got a confirmation email after saying:
    "Because your order has cancelled we've made an exception to our standard procedure. well process the refund for the new order for $77.82

    your refund will be process on the order has been tagged deliver and we will send an email update to you"

    Now I gotta wait and see if they actually give me the refund.

    Talked to 3 different people but they all said that it's a system glitch and that they'll contact me once it's fixed (which is probably never). I don't know what else to tell them :(

    I spoke to them on Sunday and they said they would call back today. Heard nothing so go on chat now and was told it was a price error and they could only offer me $10 credit.

    I said I was hoping to purchase it still and they said in that case order it now and they would refund the difference once it arrives. They even pointed me in the dirction of the Amazon US listing as it was the cheapest.

    just got the follow up call after having chat confirmation that they would refund the price difference.

    They were now saying max $50 promo credit. I held my ground, as I had confirmed multiple times on the chat that it would be the difference refunded.
    After checking with the team lead, they resorted to $50 refund and the remainder as promo credit.

    • They did actualy give me a call after I made the above post. The first time it rang I put it off as a scam caller as it was an international number but had a feeling it was Amazon and googled the number to confirm. Unfortunately I left my phone on my desk and missed their second call.

      Either way I will use the chat to back up my claim when I receive the drive.

    I received my ssd today, chat with online team, refund the difference of $77.82 back to my original payment method, good deal & happy ending.
