Flip them around and they are legs

    • Monitor mic boom leg

Can also mount a tablet and various other things

Admit you only posted the deal for the pun. $129 seems expensive. Plenty of other alternatives around $59-$79 all year round.
Or DELL 32" ozbargain favorite for $149 I believe (single monitor)

    • If I was in the market, I would pay this much for an ergotron

      • Mind elaborating? How's this better than a F160 for e.g. ?

        • +6

As a F160 owner, they just feel really cheap and plasticky and frankly look ugly. These are much more sleeker and professional looking.

I got this ages ago (5 years ago) via direct Amazon US, and still using it up to today. Very good monitor arm. I reckoned this is an Ergotron OEM.

    • Ergotron! well-reviewed

Is this different form factor significantly better than the $60 F160 dual arm

F160 base makes positioning more finicky (hence the recommendations to get two separate single-arm

      • If you look at the pictures in the reviews, I doubt the form factor is better. Get 2 single arms if < 27" or F160 if >= 27"

        • +3

Do you mean "Get 2 single arms if > 27" or F160 if <= 27"?

          • @ExPrinceHairy: No. If you mount 22" or 24" on dual arm, the arms will poke behind if you try to get the monitors aligned. Hence can't put your desk close to the wall. At 27" it's already better.
Of course the best option is to get 2 single arms irrespective of the size. Dual arm is not advised for 22"/24"

            • +1

@ShouldIBuyIt: Agree. $500 dual arm like this will still have the same issue unless your desk has lots of space behind it, ie not against wall. Get 2x single thank us later everyone

    • Have you tried stacking monitors on top of one another using this mount?

  • Have you tried.. mounting a monitor arm to a monitor arm?

    • Buy 2 and try it?

      • Buy four dual-arms for a free-standing diamond

The arms become the base legs and the base becomes the?

  • Trying to find an arm for a monitor and laptop. Prefer it sits flush on the table opposed to a side clamp.

    I'm using 2 × vivo brand arms for dell 43" and 27"
    so far so good!!
    same fuction but half price

    • +1

any links / model number? thanks

      • You can find model no. what you need at vivo-us website. Their quality is good.

    • Yes pls could you please share which Vivo arm you are using for the 43” and if it’s the P43 or U43 to get a sense of supported weight. I’m searching for one for my 43”

      • Maybe U4320q..
For 43" need V002R(over 80cm height) because gas spring can't lift this and I needed put this over my eye level.

  • Personally I’ve always been disappointed with the gas lift… they never seem to stay up.
Prefer the swivel arm on a pole

    • Mine are fine with conservative weights

5kg monitor for the 9kg mount

One stays up without readjustment for years at a time :D (which probably means I did not need an arm-type mount…)

  • Thanks OP

  • Why do all these montior arm use flimsy af allen screws?

  • Ordered one, thanks OP. Hope it is good.

  • Thanks OP, been waiting for a monitor arm for my dual 27" setup
trust the ergotron brand, with Amazon customer service back-up ;)

  • Looking for a single arm mount that works with Dell 34" S3422DWG wide screen monitor.

Would like to know if anyone's got good first hand experience with any mounts?

  • I bought theese arms on amazon for my dual 27 inch monitor
    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08DLG6WJY/ref=ppx_yo_d…
so far has been great, secure and overall flexible

and more than half the price of these

Both are good choice for their target user/buyer I think. KIA vs BMW on sale.

Amazon says this works on up to 32" displays. Is this accurate? Ergotron page says 27"

I got this: New NB H180 Dual Monitor Desk… https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0714DN1QH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_s…

I don’t think I would pay $120. I have 2, 32 inch monitors and can place them in almost any position I can imagine easily

  • Any one have any good recommendations for a 42" C2 desk mount?
