Hi All,

Some pretty good pricing on Victron gear to get you powered up for Summer! Prices listed below are for eBay Plus members, but non-members can get pricing pretty close with the 20% off code.

I've listed the SmartSolar range/specs below as the prices for BlueSolar gear isn't far off these and I think having Bluetooth is a good option!

  • 36V info not included here but support is there.

  • Various other non-bluetooth BlueSolar PWM and MPPT controllers available here

  • If you are looking for a combo DC-DC and MPPT solar charge controller, I personally run the Renogy 30A unit on a portable solar generator and it happily pulls the full 30A through 2 x 250W 12V Panels in parallel. I hear the 50A unit is also good but may require some extra ventilation.

    Thanks, BMV is a good price.

    • Honestly asking, why do people buy these?

      Ways I can monitor battery data:
      * Bluetooth to LiFePo4 BMS
      * Bluetooth to Victron MPPT
      * LED display on battery box

        I have a new DCDC charger, solar panel and lithium battery, all iTech brand.
        The iTech shunt didn't have bluetooth so I opted for this one.

        I don't want to use my phone when I'm camping so having the LCD screen display the in/out usage and remaining time etc is convenient especially because my DCDC and battery are in the engine bay, not inside my vehicle.

        When I get home from a trip I can use the bluetooth smarts to analyse the overall trend data and gain insights into the efficiency of my system.

  • I want to get solar lighting for my shed… where would i start looking. absolutely clueless.

    • Start with an efficient 12V led light. There are many options but probably camping strip lighting for your case.

      Add a switch to that, remote optional.

      Add a battery, AGM is cheap and readily available on the second hand market. The negatives (size, weight, capacity, prefers full SoC) are mostly irrelevant to your use case.

      Add an appropriately sized solar panel (100W-200W I'd suggest for solely running lighting). Second hand is great value.

      Add an appropriately sized solar charger as above. I'd suggest the 75/10.

      Add wiring and bobs your uncle.

    I've ordered from this seller 3 times now, all shipped fast and well packed…

    Someone mentioned on one of the previous deals this seller is actually Springers in Brisbane, a decent legit company: https://www.springers.com.au … Anyone familiar with the Youtube channel "Off-Grid Garage" has probably heard of them, I believe that's where he buys his Victron gear…

  • What is this used for ?

    • +1

      Charging a battery using Solar panel(s)

      • So we need to have standalone panel like one used by caravan travellers ?

        • +1

          These are paired with any panel (or panels) which have V and A within the spec range.

          Portable panels, which typically have built-in PWM for direct connection to a battery, you can just bypass the PWM and wire directly to the Victron.

          Fixed panels typically used in commercial / residential / caravan industries, you can wire directly to the Victron.

          Again, just make sure not to exceed the input range specs.

  • FYI, Price Jack has occurred on the Victron 100/50. Now $406 after discount.

      FYI it's $378 now, even cheaper than OP.
