If you like Prosciutto, this current "on special" rate of around $3 per 100 gm at ALDI seems pretty hard to beat.

Comes to less than $30 per kg. If you know where cheaper Prosciutto can be found, I for one would certainly like to know.

A pretty decent discount of $1.3 per 100 gm compared to their normal price of $4.29.
Also significantly cheaper than price of Prosciutto (Different brands) at Colesworth which seemed to come to around $60-$70 per kg.
Found a relatively cheaper one at Coles @50/kg which is on discount right now

      Just heads up: this “prosciutto” is very salty and doesn’t taste like the Italian San Daniele or Spanish Jamon Serrano (the Aldi one is delicious).
      It’s a different taste more like the Italian “speck”.

        Aside from the name 'Prosciutto', it has nothing to share with San Daniele or Parma.
        They belong to another league and are made with two ingredients only: Pork and salt.
        No nasties and masterly crafted.
        However, if you enjoy this, then even better as it is at such a great price.

        I second that. I love the Spanish Serrano from Aldi. I have tried the Berg one once- way too salty for my liking!

      It is part of their monthly super saver. Apparently no one has posted this deal till now. I myself just ended up buying it yesterday. Still 2 weeks more for deal, though

    I had this yesterday. It's not as good as any deli prosciutto as it's prepacked but for $3 it's definitely decent and worth buying.
