Seems Microsoft upped their cashbask from $100 to $150 for $500+ spending on Amex card, so basically 30% off their online stores. First 40000 card saves only, offer expires 31/12/22. FYI, I used similar offer for Microsoft gift card earlier this year and got the cashback.

Anyone had an issue getting the full invoice from Microsoft while partly paying via gift card? I was told that the invoice will only be of the amount that was paid via card and will not include the gift card amount.
How did you go with the invoice in the end? Did it include the gift card amount? I would have thought paying with gift card is similar to paying in cash hence should be included in the invoice.
Still fighting with them to get an invoice of the full amount. They flagged my account as suspicious when I tried to purchase the gift card and it took 6 days to get it unblocked which just happened yesterday after which I placed the order and it was just delivered today. I have requested them for the full invoice, let's see how it goes.
The MS store is seriously developed by morons. It seems like almost everyone here trying to buy gift cards had their account flagged as suspicious and blocked for review. Why do they even sell gift cards if they think every sale is fraud? I guess you should expect stupid half assed attention to detail from Microsoft
@qvinto: Never had any issue ever purchasing gift card from any other online store and never seen an invoice that excludes the gift card amount. I am going to about $100 in TRS refund unless they can update the invoice to include the gift card amount.
These morons generated two invoices for my purchase, one for the gift card payment and other for the card payment. Not sure how I can use them for the TRS refund as both invoices list the quantity as 1 (making the total as 2) whereas I have purchased only 1 device.
