I completed my trial period for the Tone King about a week ago and was going to purchase it today. I hopped on the site and realised there's a Black Friday sale which takes 50% off ALL of the plugins from November 18th - 30th.
I just purchased the "Tone King Imperial MKII" and "Archetype: Tim Henson".

I played Tim Henson's for the first time today with the intention of only purchasing the Tone King. After playing around all day and purchasing both, I still find myself playing Tim's. Its got a few more pedals and two more amps. Tim's also has a really cool reverb and multivoicer pedals. I think Tim's is quite versatile.
If you're up for trying something new, I'd go with Tim's. I don't play high gain much. I prefer to just be on the edge of the amp breaking up.
Nice. I've just watched a few vids on the Henson plugin and I think the multivoicer has just sold me on it.
Also - use the trials dude! You can try both and choose!
Do you use this as a plugin to another software ? Im looking to start my digital journey. Ive just got an audio interface!
It does install a separate app as well. Just set-up your interface in the settings menu and you're good to go. No need for a DAW or anything else.
On PC you might have to isntall Asio4all to reduce the garbage latency on windows. I have done so on my PC. On my Mac i didnt have to install anything in addition to the plugin.
Which do you think is the better "bang for your buck" purchase between the Archetype: Time Henson & Tone King? I typically stay within the realm of funk, R&B, classic rock. I have the Cory Wong plugin, but I'm looking to expand my range a bit more. Cheers!
