should be fine. I use Oneplus and after some adjustments, the ECG & Blood pressure monitoring working fine. I can't control the camera but I'm ok with that. Just check https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-use-samsung-galaxy-wat… and most of the functions should work properly.
I was curious on this too, I have a OnePlus 8T and have read a few things stating that some of the watches functions dont work without adjustments.

For ECG and blood pressure monitoring. Modded software both on phone and watch. It's not really hard just follow this instructions. My phone is oneplus 6t so yours should be fine.

I've read typically you need to root it to run unsigned applications or installs

Works good with the Mi 10T. I'm pretty sure everything functions normally.
The battery life is pretty meh at about 1-2 days (closer to 1) as a sidenote.

This or Amazfit Bip 3 PRO?
I bought the amazfit 3 pro from mobile city for $237 (4 days before the black friday sale as they had extra off at the point).
I personally love it and feel it's much more premium and better than my brother's Samsung watch 4, 44mm.
The battery is the biggest difference where he has to charge everyday, Max 2 days for him with almost all features turned off, and I have been using with all features on and haven't charged it for last 3 days and still at 50% battery.
You can see the difference in screen size between 1.4" and 1.45" even though it's negligible on paper.
If you don't want to charge everyday, amazfit is a much better option and might have 1-2 extra features only

@bluespider: My bad, yes i was talking about gtr but the review goes for all amazfit watches as all are awesome. More or less similar features. Being an amazfit watch user from last 3 years and many friends who have different models have mentioned similar experience as well

I believe Samsung watches don't pair with Apple. Watch 5 definitely doesn't and am pretty sure 4 doesn't pair to Apple as well

Why, what is the issue?
Other than the normal issues of the battery life, there's also no ECG and no blood pressure.
ECG and BP only work with Samsung phones I believe. They may have changed this though, my info is over 1 year old when I sold my Galaxy watch 4. Been using the Amazfit since then.
