The XT needs to be at this price point….

I just got the Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 XT SE Nitro+ 16G Graphics Card yesterday for only $150 more at Umart. Is that a good deal? $899 from $1698.

        Great carrd.

      • +6

Saw that one as well. Great card, not so great, maybe OK price.
Again, use the ATL table. $799 is the price to beat for a 6800xt.
That $1698 is bs, it might have been that price during the mining craze and you could print money with it, but that's long gone. RRP for a 6800xt was $1049, 2 years ago, but that doesnt sound as good, does it😂.

FYI: 2 weeks ago you could get a 6900xt for 909aud from amazon.

ATL for the 6800xt was $760 delivered during last afterpay day. From memory it ended up being marginally better fps/$ than the $670 6800.

I bought one, unable to post here though due to minimum ebay stock rule — seller kept the stock ~5 and just kept updating the listing.

          • +5

            @snep: Nice pickup

eBay listing confirmed so 6800 XT updated to $760.75 for the ATL table

        The 6900xt was ~$900 recently

I would recommend looking at the ATL table in that post. Either shops start at least matching those prices or don't even try, especially for black Friday /Cyber Monday

Helpful table. Thanks. Although if that price is part of the ZIP promotion, I'd happily spend more to avoid BNPL.

    • I honestly forgot 6800 had even dropped that low, must’ve been a while ago

      • It was 3 months ago during afterpay sales. Got close ($675) during the zip sales last week as well.

Apparently the only way to get decent gpu prices these days is to wait for BNPL to subsidise your purchase lol

    • Not everyone has a pay after, but with this one, anyone can just walk in and pay before.

  • +1

This is an ok price. Man…. there’s been a shortage of team red deals of late.

  • +1

6700xt can be had for $599. Not sure this is worth the extra. May as well find a 6900xt.

  • +7

Man I'm gonna be bummed if we get no good GPU deals tomorrow. Been holding out for years at this point and really don't want to have to wait till part way through next year for the new gen 😭

    • +1

yeah same… looking at the current pricing for 3070/ti 6800/xt & above is depressing

    • Agree, variety seems to be thin currently. Tempted to just get the RX 6700 and be done with it this generation. Coming from the RX 470.

  • +2

Probably best price so far for this GPU, excluding BNPL, and its not Asrock… Why the negs?

    • +1

My problem is it's only a 20% discount (once factoring in shipping) on MSRP for a card that is now officially over 2 years old with the new gen literally weeks away. With the combination of the end of the crypto mining craze, the age of the cards, new gen being just around the corner, better previous all time low prices, and the Black Friday sales period, this is pretty underwhelming. This is an okay'ish price but to me isn't one that should have you out immediately buying if you've been waiting on a good deal for a while.

      • +2

It seems like general availability of the mid range rdna3 will be months away, so stores are probably not rushed to discount anything this gen quite yet.

  • PCByte just dropped the Sapphire 6750 XT to $599 with free shipping

Instead of price drops on the massively crypto inflated old stock, there might be action on the newer 6650 XT and 6750 XT stock

  • Deal for ASUS 6650 XT @ US$170 just went live, that's AU$250 so after GST and Australia tax, that's AU$299

All the cards on the ATL are about to shift down 1 level

    • Where did this deal go live btw?

      • Newegg

    • +1

Are you sure you didn't have the wrong currency set? Lowest 6650 XT I can see is $249 USD

      • Yeah I couldn't find it either. Really struggling to find any good GPU deals. Looking for a 6800 XT

        • Me too, surely we get ONE decent 6800 XT deal this weekend, even if it just matches the current ATL.

          • +1

@DecoAus: we in the same boat then, let me know if you find anything good lol

  • Pulled the trigger on a sapphire rx 6750 xt pulse for $599 @pcbyte.
Been comparing current BF prices in the USA and the average price there for a 6750 xt is around $350 usd.
    So around $517 aud

No doubt i'll have regrets as a lower price card suddenly appears an hour after I've bought, but anyways there you have it I can move on with my build :)

  • This one keeps creeping up in price, it went to $759 (25-Nov) and is now $769 (26-Nov). Gotta say, the scarcity of deals has been a bummer, this was one of the more reasonable ones this BF.

The NITRO+ version of this card has also gone up $20 to $819 at PC Byte.

    • LOL… the 6800 NITRO+ is now $839

jeez whats with the moving prices in a sale

      • The PULSE version ended up at $779 and is now sold out. If I can make it through Cyber Monday, I might be able to hold out to next year …

        • yeah Im feeling the same way. Any chance I get I wont be buying my next video card from an AU retailer…. greedy firetruckers

  • +2

blackfriday/ cybermonday were extremely average this year. not a single higher end GPU on sale. On a positive note they saved me around $700 I was willing to spend for a 6800xt in a blackfriday deal which is supposed to be the biggest sales event in the year, so it should undercut every single deal that has been out there before. At least thats my expectation during BFCB

    • Agreed.

The 6700XT has been on special for ~$600 once a month for the past 5 months.

Was expecting it to be be $525-550 like in the recent zippay deal.

No deals on 6800XT. Seems there must be limited stock around the country. If you're like me and was HODLing waiting for a 6800-6900XT deal, you may as well HODL until the 7xxx series information next week. Grab a card early next year or wait for more deals to pop up in December. No doubt the 6700XT will be back at ~$600 next month.

      • Sounds like we are exactly in the same situation. Callisto Protokoll would be the first game that I would like to play, but I'm happy to wait 6 months to a year. My gt730 is still going strong. And for casual gaming I've got my Xbox X.

I'm also tracking European deals for GPUs and there also haven't been many. If I remember correctly, 1 or 2 6800xt and 6900xt in Germany and they also weren't that good.
