Any summary breakdown of the different fenix 6 models?
S is a bit smaller, X is a bit bigger, Sapphire models have an indestructable screen.
I'd recommend going to try them on.
The 6s is already a large size at 40mm by regular watch standards. In the Garmin world, it seems bigger is better and everyone gravitates to the 6x with 51mm diameter. I think it's pretty oversized and somewhat stupid looking but YMMV. The larger models have better battery life and you see more of the map when you need it. They're also heavier so be aware if you're long distance/duration doing anything it may matter? I have the 6s and its pretty comparable size to samsung/apple watches so fits well underneath sleeves and unobtrusive if you want to wear it to work.

My partner has a Samsung phone and used to have a Samsung watch but now has the fenix 6s and she much prefers the Garmin. I haven’t looked at the comparison but Garmin pros are things like longer battery life, looks better, download and play Spotify via watch and activity and I’m general has a better name for serious athletes.

No, it's only the black one. My wife doesn't really want black but it's $200 difference give or take. Value depends on if you will use the voucher I guess. Trying to convince her the black one is OK.
@ozbs25: Just went and looked. I'm sorry to say there is no way I would wear the black one (it's the size, not the colour that's the problem) so don't recommend it for your wife. Even for my husband it will be pretty big!
@locapez: We tried it on today and to my surprise, she didn't mind it. When we compared it to the other ones she was interested in, they weren't that much smaller. She isn't much of a watch wearer and I'd be surprised if she wanted to wear it all the time. Worst case scenario I can wear it, or we can share it. We don't exercise at the same time very often at all as we have a toddler to look after.
Just a warning the $200 voucher can't be used until tomorrow. I went and bought this watch for my husband. Then went to use the $200 voucher on a Fenix 6s for me and I can't get it until tomorrow. Hopefully they are still on special then!
