FYI you can get custom firmware for these. I've done this as it means not having to use the crappy stock app.

I flashed a custom firmware on one of mine, and now Mi Home can't see it, and my Home Assistant with BT dongle can't either. Know any useful links for troubleshooting? i don't even know what guide I followed (Shouldn't be doing this stuff late at night!) and after a ton of googling I couldn't find anything useful
You also cannot integrate with other apps such as Tuya or the like. I've tried… and not much else works with Xiaomi.
You should tasmota'd your Tuya stuff if possible anyway.
