    All depends on your use case. If you are only using it to take notes, I'm sure you could get by with the cheap stylus. If you are using it for digital art then they aren't comparable at all.

    I'm honestly just looking for something that makes using the keyboard easier on the ipad, and maybe scribbling some notes, so this is a good suggestion. Can't justify the normal apple tax on the real pencil

  I broke my 2nd gen Apple Pencil 2 recently… the tip snapped off, and left a bit inside. Trying to get it out it cracked the outside :(

  Realised I can get a better deal buying from Apple with 10% cashback + $40 gift card, and pay with discounted gift cards.

      It snapped off because I walked into a wall… whilst I love a good fight for ACL as much as any OzBargainer, I also know that I was the cause and it's unlikely to be attributable to any kind of manufacturing defect (especially since I bought the iPad Pro 11/2nd gen pencil/keyboard back at the start of 2019).
