It's weird seeing these posted at this price as it was cheaper over a year ago. Great phone (I have the exact variation), but these are getting old (Sept 2020 release). I've seen deals posted in the last few days for the S21FE for cheaper, but I don't think that has Snapdragon.

Edit: I did buy on the Education store, which was $50 cheaper than non-edu $585 with Samsung newsletter code

Yeah correct they are exynos, im using my s20 fe 5G version now, i love it. But yeah its getting a little older with support dropping by the years and the s21 fe still a better choice evan though it does not have a sd card slot, worse camera, little less battery life. But for the extra support id go s21 FE if the sd card is not important

wow, the S21FE was a jump down and a half from what we got. I think there is 1 more Android update (to 13) and then another year or so of security updates and then it's over for support. I did read all S22 and beyond phones now have 5 years android support, so I'm going to try to make my S20FE last another year (fingers crossed) and change. Normally around now I would change, but it's still a good phone.

    • Edit 2: If anyone wants to buy, consider if the warranty is valid here (or how it works). Also, it will come with 15W US plug, which is crap anyways as this phone can charge at 25W

Samsung Australia will not fix overseas models.

        • Cheers. I didn't know about international warranties either way, so mentioned it.

An hour ago I bought the S21 FE (6gb/128gb) for $449 from Samsung with $100 voucher + $50 newsletter (someone kind enough to post code in the classified thread). Can't wait!

I'm sure you'll be happy with it. That's a great price for what you get. DeX and Knox are a bonus with a device in this price range. 2 year warranty is also mint.

How is this a deal when the newer local stock of S21FE has been sub 600 over the last few days?

    https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/samsung-galaxy-s21-fe-5g-128g…
Plus $50 store cash on TGG

2yo phone with zero local support and more expensive, there’s absolutely no reason to get it.

    Awesome phones
Wished they had a 3.5mm jack but at least it has an SD card slot.

Doesn't seem you can get a flagship phone with a 3.5mm or SD card anymore?

Not being able to use my headphones regularly has impacted my mood : (
    Need music

Agreed, its just a marketing excuse they use to get you to buy a bigger storage phone or a new phone when you need more storage, or to buy samsung/apple wireless earbuds to make more proffit because adapters are inconvenet

The only options are Asus Zenfone or Sony Xperia

      • +1

ZenFone was my go-to though sheet the ze552-kl options ran a bit dry.
Will probably go back to them though
        Thanks for the suggestions

    Should be $375 max

    • Nahh its agood phone solid but a little older but it was $999 new 2 years ago over a 5 year period of lasting its cost 200$ a year to own and its 400$ off so its at a reasonable cost fpr the age

  • I love this phone

    hard vouch for it

  • S21 fe is being sold for $586 at Tgg

The s21 fe has very mixed reviews, some say its very slow and the battery is horrible

      • It's note above, it's not snapdragon, camera is worse, battery as mentioned and lack of SD card. I have read a few reviews and as expected many who purchase the S20FE, upgraded to its younger brother and those are the reviews I took particular attention to and they aren't good. S21FE seems to be a step back (not saying for a light-medium user, it wouldn't be fine) so this has slightly screwed me for an update.

  • Had one running daily for i think a year now, is perfect for me

The 5G has the Snapdragon SOC, many say the phone is better than the S21

    • I can back this up. I can also state many reviews online from S20FE users going to S21FE (I focused on these), complained it was a downgrade. My S20FE need to last another years and hopefully S22 Ultra Refurbs will be ~$600-700

  • am i missing something, why will you pay more than s21fe which is currently $585
    is s20fe somehow better?

    • +1

As people have commented and from reviews I have read (Disclosure I own this phone), many compared their upgrade from the S20FE to S21FE as a downgrade. S21FE isn't snapdragon with camera issues / imagine quality and battery life being the most complained about. No SD card in the S21FE either. Glad I didn't upgrade to the S21FE and hope I get another year out of my S20FE since it's still a great phone. Hopefully in 6-9 months the S22 Ultra Refurb from Amazon will be $600-700 for an upgrade. I'm very pissed there is no S22FE, but the S21FE seems to have killed the rep a little.

In saying this at this time, I won't buy an S20FE, as there is only 1 more android update (3 years total 10 —> 13) and a few years of security updates left. Anything S22 and beyond has 5 years of android updates, hence would avoid S21FE also

  • The 256gb model s21fe comes with 8gb RAM which helps performance, which really affect the phone if using it as a gaming device.

I use a s22ultra and just finished preparing a s21fe 256gb for a family member and was quite impressed on its performance, paid $619 on black friday special, TGG and Cashback.

IMHO it is good bang for the bucks and better than the A series.

    • I was contemplating to get the 256gb version for $549 but I don't game much on the phone so I thought the 128gb model is enough for me. I think getting the 128gb for $449 (55% off without any trade ins) is good bang fo the buck!
