That’s the 12 and is a great price.
Worth stepping up to 13 for battery life and processor, especially since it’s likely to be the last gen for a while.
You are right, my bad. I compared it with iphone 7 and it is much smaller.

The $549 iPhone 12 mini is already more than half the price, and it’s only 64GB. 128GB is $599.
Plus you have to buy an Amaysim $125 prepaid plan to get the phone. All in for a 12 mini 128GB you’re looking at $724, far from half the price.
I have a 12 mini. For those that want the best small phone you would of course go for the faster, longer battery life 13 mini.
But at that price difference I would go the 12 mini,even having to buy the prepaid sim. Its battery life is still better than any phone four or five years ago, and an iPhone 12 is still one of the fastest phones on the market.
Telstra Day deal for iPhone 13 was cheaper.

Agree it’s a great phone, but $1047 has been the standard OW price since Apple reduced the RRP of the 13 mini in September. What’s noteworthy perhaps is that OW actually seems to have the 128GB model in stock again (albeit only in midnight)—there was a prolonged drought since September.
According to Google Shopping, it may be the lowest price and best deal right now if you missed out on Apple’s recent BF/CM $80 gift card deal or the even better HN deal early last month for the 256 and 512GB models, or for some reason don’t want to buy it directly from Apple with GCs from Woolies which is offering 20x bonus Everyday Rewards points so an effective 10% saving (available until next Tuesday)—there are probably others out there too. But I would still opt for something similar rather than settle for two bucks off RRP.
