Extremely low price on these robot vacuum cleaners from Yeedi (Evovacs sub-brand) that were $349.99 & $389.99 on Black Friday. The more expensive model has an attachable mop that oscillates back and forth quickly so it scrubs the floor instead of dragging a sponge around that may cause streaks.

Both feature 3000Pa strong suction, carpet/hard floor detection, 3D obstacle avoidance, floor mapping, multiple cleaning modes including carpet boost, auto empty bin support (not included), 220min battery life and a phone app for control.

While the auto-empty station isn't included, Yeedi use the same auto empty station as Ecovacs so if it goes on sale again you can use that.

          Ecovacs since it's newer and has auto empty. Xiaomi is the original one.

      There's no LIDAR but it's not a dumb vacuum that bumps into everything. There's a big sensor at the front and a smaller one on top.

      I have the D9, just bought this to compare and will decide which to keep. So far the D9 is good, but the mopping on this intrigues me as my entire house is tiles mostly.

      It uses VSLAM technology I think, so less effective than LIDAR but better than no navigation. Camera mounted on top uses the roof as a guide I think.

          Not falling off stairs is managed by drop sensors on the underside of the vacuums, and the Yeedi has them (most do, my old Xiaowa C10 had it).

      It was actually 250 with the black Friday code. D9 Max is a better deal for just having lidar and newer I think. Not that this is bad but I'd go the dreame

      The JB vac may be ght be the k but I doubt it would be as good as the Yeedi. It looks like it not onky doesn't have lidar, but doesn't use a camera.these have some sort of algorithm that works out how to efficiently work their way around the space using its own movement, and while some of these vacs are decent some are apparently crap. Sorry I can't remember what the name is for that tech

    Tempted to replace my Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum first gen from 2017. It's still working well though the battery is not as good as before.

      Same here. The S6 bought long ago (2015?) and used daily is still working fine. I got a new battery and spares from eBay and replaced. Easy to do.

      Don’t feel like dumping a good working unit so use it one the upper floor. Don’t feel good trashing so much electronics :(.

      Got a new Dreame V9 max with mop last month; and while that one is better - I have to say I had too high hopes. The guidance is improved on V9 but feels something missing. Uses same app as S6. Mopping felt very basic. Temping to give yeedi a go at this price given it’s advanced mopping.

        Its great, especially the mop function is really good. Suction power is great for both hard floor and carpet - we have both at home. Coming from Xiaomi 1C and very happy. Only minor issue is the bin is small, as compared to Xiaomi, maybe due to bigger battery size.

      depends on the vac some are better than others, generally better to clear the room of objects before starting, cables can be the biggest issue, a few lego bricks should be fine
