Dead pixel / bright pixel aren't covered under warranty. Seems bit risky

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think even for refurbished products, you've the rights to return it for a refund if it turns out not as described upon receiving it.

But if the dodgy pixels only pop up after a month of use, then tough luck.

Don't think you would have a case for claiming warranty for dead pixels when the warranty calls out they don't cover dead pixels. Like buying a refurb product that may contain dents and then asking for a refund due to dents. Back in the early days of LCD screens every monitor had an acceptable amount of dead pixels.

I wouldn't touch this deal. No way I could deal with using a screen with a big red stuck pixel.

claiming warranty for dead pixels when the warranty calls out they don't cover dead pixels.

Yeah, definitely not in the 1 year warranty.
But when you purchased a refurbished products received not as described , you're not returning for warranty but rather a refund for misleading consumer.

Like buying a refurb product that may contain dents and then asking for a refund due to dents.

Well if the description says Refurbished - Condition : - Comes with stuck pixel , then yes i agree no refund.
But If the condition says Excellent with minor scratch , but received with a dent OR stuck pixel, then you can keep it but i'll definitely ask for my refund.

It seems refurb is now the new term for secondhand.

If only the screen was better, seems to be the standout issue in some reviews
