I think its a massive risk
Something goes wrong Lenovo Australia will not cover it , and really, sending it back to the states will take its time, something goes wrong with the return, you will lose $2.5K
Yeah thats going to be iffy if lenovo au aint covering the warranty. Shipping this thing back to the us could be costly and time consuming.

Just ask lenovo to price match
They don't price match ebay… at least on sale items.
Just by asking on chat i got 1k off on a sale item when i was getting mine last year so never hurts to ask for a discount, don't have to say price match until after
Well, I tried to pice match the recent Legion 7i deal and the rep in online chat said they don't price match ebay, even if it's Lenovo's own store, because the discount is subsidised by Ebay.
@Ozico: interesting personally never asked for a price match, I just ask for a discount, I had to cycle through 3 chat agents before I got the 1k discount, they could have toughened up since then though

Very easy fix disable the service hardly a problem.
To be fair, icue just controls the rgb it’s not end of the world to not use it. Meanwhile legion 7 have much more premium build and vapor chamber cooling neither of which the gen 6 nor gen 7 legion 5/5pros get. That’s the bigger difference which you can’t really fix here.

How's the warranty? The last gigabyte deal through antonline, someone posted about them offering a default 1 year global warranty but afaik the stock 1 year limited warranty lenovo offers here does not include any sort of global coverage. Seems a risk too big to take given such a high priced item.
