Camp-Pro 30000mAh Power Bank + Flashlight $69.99 (Was $99.99) Delivered @ Zyron Tech

81

Here's one for all the power bank aficionados. It's a behemoth with the following specs, and comes with 1x USB-A to USB-C cable. Standard shipping was free to TAS when I added it the cart.

The flashlight part would be of questionable use, but I guess it would be handy to take with you when camping. No idea if this is airline-friendly, I'm hoping someone can comment below.

Thanks to RichardL who comments below that the Zyron store at Amazon has the same price with a 30% off coupon. I don't know if this is targeted or not, when I visited the link it showed as $99.99 with the coupon, bringing it down to the same price. YMMV

PS: also same price from their Amazon Store - $69.99 with 30% off Voucher

    • Well-spotted, I'll add that to the OP. Thanks!

Alternatively, get this with 19800 Milliamp Hours, more functions.

  • How many lumens is the flashlight?

    • Well, the Zyron web site says:

The power bank is designed with a 2W bright flashlight that can provide up to 90 hours of active use.

I think it's fairly safe to assume these are high-efficiency LEDs, so when I asked the Internet the answer came back that 2W is roughly equivalent to 180lm. Not terribly bright, but would be sufficient to light up a tent enough at night to avoid stumbling over things.

Also noting this is also passthrough charging

Just so buyers are aware, at 30,000 mAh you're supposed to seek airline approval before taking the battery pack on a flight:

Yeah probably why it's sold as a camping accessory. Personally the Ramoss is better value at just under $46

      • I've got that exact one, and the higher wattage (50w, from memory) Romoss and I highly recommend them. The only drawback imo is the single USB-C port. I would've liked to have 2, even if it meant trading one of the USB-A ports, as everything is moving towards USB-C.

Waiting for the lame "Will this charge my Tesla comments"

For the record: no, it won't.

    • My EV will charge many of these

  • Speaking of camping… I have some 12V cig lighter adapter lights…

Is it possible to use a power bank to power those? If so, how?

    • Interesting… I'll do some digging and write up a post on my site. There will definitely be some, but I'm not sure how practical they'd be. You're probably better off buying a battery box - most of them have cigarette lighter 12v sockets. What's your use case?

Anything that wouldn't be happy charging by USB typically needs a bit more juice than the typical 10,000-30,000mAh battery packs (e.g. camping fridge). A battery box would usually hold a 700,000mAh battery. Much, much more juice.

  • Poor service

Charger stopped working after 9 months, emailed 5 days ago, no reply

warranty is for 2 years. but useless if they don't reply

    Poor after service -
