  • Would stay away from this. Bluetooth is dodgy and disconnects half the time. Also very uncomfortable ear muffs, you wont be able to wear longer than an hour.

    • That’s good, an hour is plenty for a Teams meeting.

Not for die hard ozbers but if you are on calls a lot, Jabra Engage is the best headset you can get. Range is insane, only picks up your voice (doesn't matter what is happening in the background), works flawlessly with Teams. You pay for what you get and it is worth it.

    • Seems like a great headset, but that's almost 5x the price though!
Jabra Engage 75 Stereo Wireless DECT + Bluetooth Business Headset

      • Like I said, only good if you are on calls all day and want a good experience (and can afford it or get your boss to pay for it!).
I use an Engage 65 mono for about 3 hours a day. Would get stereo if I had my time again.
Easy tax write-off as well I guess.

  • BPC also selling at this price.it is not really a bargain

I have used this since March, 100% happy with USB connection. I use Ms Teams everyday and lots of calls since we all work virtually. Not much noise suppression from background. Connected to phone with Bluetooth, sometimes when connected the sound is a bit funny. Anyway, i don't use many calls from phone via Bluetooth so not much concern for me. For this price, i would be very satisfy. Work supplied Sennheiser DW5065, quite expensive with great noise suppression background but battery life half of Microsoft Modern Wireless headset. The Sennheiser's cause more pain on the ear when wearing for few hours continuously than Microsoft headset.

I have used these at work and tried them for gaming. For work they're not bad. I wouldn't use the mic on the headset. My logitech webcam mic is better. But the sound is fine for voice and video (Youtube, training vids etc.)

I would not use these for gaming. The lag is awful. At least my perception of it was.

I would not use them for listening to music. I'm not an audiophile but even to my "tin ears" these aren't pleasing.

  • I got these a few months ago, price matched at Officeworks for ~$90, The guy didn't include shipping in the price match, so I got them for well under RRP.

I use it mainly for teams calls and mainly from a quiet house (unless kids are home for whatever reason). The only feedback I've had from some people is that my voice isn't "as good" as the steelseries arctis 1 wireless that I was using before. I'm completely clear just "not the same as usual". Bluetooth range is actually the reason I've kept using it, I have to literally be over 20m from my laptop before it starts to break up.

  • These look like dogs.

Better of picking up the razer v2 blacksharks. Very comfortable, sound great and mic is good. Picked em up for $70 ish last time posted on ozb

    • The Teams headset is designed for corporate so that generally means smaller and lighter which then sacrifices other parts. I used a gaming headset for a year, great sound and voice but the enclosed cup definitely wasn't as comfortable going forward.

      • The v2 black sharks are very comfortable, can't speak for the set you used but not the case with v2's

  • Manual says I can answer calls, but unable to accept MS teams call
