How would this compare to the S100 that was on sale for 1499 with caddy, cover and ext warranty?
I picked up the S100 deal. Thought it was great until I noticed all the silt left behind. Apparently for it to actually clean the pool, you need to buy the fine filter for $125+. I'm considering requesting a refund unless they supply the filter for free, as IMO it's not fit for purpose.
I read some reviews and they basically all said you need the fine filter to clean properly. It really should be included or at the very least be reasonably priced (which it's not). These kinds of tactics put me off buying Maytronics.
Just got off the phone from Maytronics - they're sending me a free ultra-fine filter, which is appreciated. No idea why they don't just include it from the start…
Ah, shame I was looking for a robot cleaner, but I missed out on the black friday pricing. I refuse to pay $500 more than someone else a month ago.
