[Unobtainable Deal] $10 off a Prezzee Smart eGift Card of $20 or More & Sent as Gift to Friend @ Prezzee (Limit 3,000 Orders)

Moved to Forum: Original Link

I'm guessing most Ozbargainers will have a "friend" that they would like to send an egift card to. Runs for 24 hours or when 3000 eligible purchases made.

I'll update the promo code tomorrow at 10am.

T&Cs -

  1. The Offer will commence at 10:00am AEDT on Thursday, 22nd December 2022 and finish at 10:00am AEDT on Friday 23rd December 2022 OR until stocks run out (3,000 Eligible Purchases have been made), whichever comes first.
  2. To be eligible for the AUD$10 discount off a Prezzee Smart eGift Card of $20 or more (the Offer), you must purchase and send a Prezzee Smart eGift Card of AUD$20 or more of value to a recipient, and add the promotional code at checkout via the Prezzee website located at www.prezzee.com.au (Eligible Purchase).
  3. If eligible for the Offer, the $10 discount will apply to the Prezzee Smart eGift Card at checkout.
  4. This Offer is strictly limited to the first 3,000 Eligible Orders only.
  5. This offer is limited to one eligible Prezzee Smart eGift Card per customer and must be sent as a gift to a recipient.

Mod 1040am: The OP has not provided any further information or update, so we have moved this deal post to the forums as unobtainable. If the deal becomes available in the near future, then it can be posted as a new deal, with the relevant information/limitations.

    • it aint the code

    • +3

If you read the terms and conditions you’ll see that the real code is “at checkout”.

  • OP you got to pay for every broken F5 key on our keyboards because of your incompetency

    • +6

Bit much calling him incompetent - he's posted literally thousands of deals and is a pillar of the Ozb community. Everyone's human (even bots sometimes)

  • Wrong start date?

  • When the code is released, I'm guessing the Prezzee site crashes.

  • +1

    So…

"Prezzee reserves the right to withdraw this Offer at any time and without notice."

  • -1

    code is To be updated

        • +1

He unpublished the deal. Odd that he isn't keeping us updated. Maybe he is a real bot?

  • "I'll update the promo code tomorrow at 10am."

Half the fun is watching the number of Reports climb.

  • They got me signed up…not good.

    • The Preezee site and all of this here is legitimate, he hasn't directed you to anything malicious or anything.

  • +2

I'm mates with with you-know-who and we're busy getting the $30K ourselves before releasing the code. DUH

    • +3

promo code DUH did not work

  • +23

Reading all the comments here, you know why retail workers get abused verbally and physically by customers so often.

  • +4

time to go drop a number 2. No doubt the code will land when I'm mid-plop

    • Submarine successfully launched

  • +4

Ever consider that Prezzee might be the one slow to give the code to Dealbot? No? Mild shock.

    • +4

If that were the case, why wouldn't he just say that to assuage our aching souls?

    • +1

Perhaps - though Dealbot could simply reply in this thread saying "still waiting on code" or something

      • Agreed, would take 5 seconds to let us know

  • +1

    clickbait. time to move on

  • Don't Panic!

OzBargain is currently under scheduled maintenance / database upgrade. We shall be back "very very soon".

  • Lol wonder how dealbot will respond to this blunder…

  • giving up, going to drop my toddler now.

    • +2

      Don't drop them too hard.

      • Haha, missing word - just like the missing code. I meant "drop off".

  • What a shemozzle. Thumbs down to using Prezzee!!!!!

  • +1

Dealbot will be banned from OZBs~
    At least update something please

  • +6

I want to leave but also hooked at reading the comments…. Talk about time wasting!

    • +4

Maybe it was actually $10 in free entertainment.

      • +3

Maybe the real $10 was the friends we made along the way

  • =.=

  • +1

14 mins past 10am and yet still no code

  • Here goes many months of Ozbargain users' time waiting for the code 😂

  • -6

I’ve got 3 devices ready for this deal. Might as well set up another while we are waiting for the code.

  • +1

This hasn't worked. The post should be moved to the fourms.

  • Surely this sort of deals are just a ploy to get millions of page refreshes of the Ozbargain website to make it look attractive to advertisers right?

    • +1

negative votes do not look attractive anywhere

    • +1

      That's some good conspiracy shit

    • +2

      T&C clearly says 22nd

The Offer will commence at 10:00am AEDT on Thursday, 22nd December 2022 and finish at 10:00am AEDT on Friday 23rd December 2022 OR until stocks run out (3,000 Eligible Purchases have been made), whichever comes first.

      • Somehow bot marked it for 23rd. Probably why he is not checking?

        • No he didn't, that's the expiry field on the post. You've been here since '07 and don't know this!?

    • The Offer will commence at 10:00am AEDT on Thursday, 22nd December 2022 and finish at 10:00am AEDT on Friday 23rd December 2022 OR until stocks run out (3,000 Eligible Purchases have been made), whichever comes first.

    • Ignore me. I need coffee

  • +3

So how are we all? enjoying the last days of 2022?

    • +3

      This just ruined Christmas.

    • The Summer of George Costanza

    • I'm not sure dealbot knows its 2022

  • looks like a joke to me now

  • +1

love being here for another chapter in ozbargain history

  • no code?

  • +2

Lol I had a card ready to go, but hadn't ticked the T&Cs box, yet it submitted the order. 🙄

  • For those interested: Prezzee is offering Amazon eGift Card - "Buy $100 and get a $5 Bonus".

  • +1

Watching the neg numbers go up

  • +5

If you earned more than $40/hr and you've been here for 15 mins, you'd make more by just getting back to work.

    • +7

Some people get paid regardless of how much work they actually do

      • Yeah, that's me, since I'm the boss :) But it's more fun to just make a generalised statement and see what comments follow.

    • +2

Not if your pay is fixed and you're not taking time off

    • +2

Jokes on them. I am at work.

    • I am getting paid sitting at home, all good thanks for your concerns.

    • Only applies if you are working today. And also only if you work for yourself.

    • Unless you're currently at work like me - keep on refreshing ;)

    • I was just thinking the same thing. I'm on holidays so probably willing to "work" for half an hour at a rate of $20/hr
