I was going to brave the boxing day sales to get some of these from JB at 25% off, but luckily I just hit a camel alert.

Normally around $35 and has never been this low according to price tracking.
(Although I did find a few ozb deals between $15-20 around 6 years ago.)

I haven't personally used them but someone told me that they're "fine".

      "3 watts"
won't annoy the neighbours too much
      .

  • Trying to work out if the headphone output on this supports mic input on headphones? The manual is no help: https://www.logitech.com/assets/65756/3/z150-web-qsg.pdf

Could anyone who has this speaker please confirm if the mic works if you use headphones?

Doubt it would. Youd need a TRRS jack to support mics and this looks like just a stereo TRS Jack judging from the diagrams.

You could always pair this with a mic/headphone splitter but you'd still need a few other cables

Took a bit of convincing but I just got this price matched at Officeworks for $18.05.

    • Nice, I cbf going to the shops today.

    • All that effort for 95c

      • Yeah but Amazon's estimated delivery is showing February so it was more about availability than the actual saving.

        • Oh that makes more sense. My estimated delivery is 31 December.

I wish Z213 could go back to around $20
Z150 6W is not loud enough, Z213 14W is perfect for bedroom.
Bought one back then, should have got a few more.

  • Still overpriced in my opinion. Worth about $5 bux and will sound like it. Most bluetooth speakers will sound better.
Nobody is going to set these up and say "these sound great" and they aren't going to say "oh wow these sound GREAT for the sale price" either.

    • I don’t necessarily disagree with you but I’m already using a Bluetooth speaker plugged into the computer and it’s a bit of a pain in the ass.

The Bluetooth one obviously needs to be charged, plus it won’t auto power off on line-in mode. Turning it on and off and getting it into the correct mode is an inconvenience.

      • "The Bluetooth one obviously needs to be charged,"

"Turning it on and off and getting it into the correct mode is an inconvenience."

Yeah I get you. Bluetooth speaker is not easy to use as a PC speaker.
But I would recommend spend a little more for Creative Pebble speakers rather than these logitechs.

Last time I checked Pebble 2.0 was around $24 to $27 C&C from JB HiFi portal. (free access if you are with some places e.g. Westpac)

  • i bought these and they're perfectly fine for the price.
