OP Notes

a. Discount coupon applies at checkout. Make sure to tick or collect the coupon first before adding to cart - there is no actual code

b. Lightning deal discount limited to one item quantity per Amazon account

c. If you have promotional credit in your account, DO NOT UNSELECT IT. You must pay with the promotional credit you have in your account. The coupon discount counts as "promotional credit" and unselecting promotional credit as a payment method will cause Amazon to charge you full price. If you ticked the coupon, Amazon will subtract the discount, then charge the remaining cost with your promo credit. Here's an example screenshot, where you see the coupon discount is applied, as well as the S&S discount, and the remaining payment in promotional "courtesy" credit

Coupon expires 14 March 2023 unless exhausted or sold out earlier

    • i've still got monitors with vga inputs :(

    • Try working in IT and not have one and you'll soon learn that's still used far too much today. IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface), as far as I know still, always use them as they have one of the most basic GPUs possible.

      • Just saw my company gather bin loads to send off somewhere!

    “Porjector“ lol

  • Thanks OP.. just realised the other day I was out of VGA cables

  • Do any current media still use VGA these days? Like there's one idle VGA port on my desktop and I don't know what to do with it lol

    • Compatibility issues perhaps? Say a rig running inside a factory they got some software on the production line which only runs on a certain edition of windows xp with the exact hardware setup in place, otherwise it freezes every other hour in production.

Plenty of schools seems to be still running on old hardware as well.

      • Ah ok. So for consumers not really but at enterprise level yes.

        • yeah definitely still sees usage where you want compatibility more than anything else

        • Nah actually more at the enterprise level.. legacy systems still needs support .. a 4k screen does not aid in any IT field barring designing so companies spend money on the latest in cpu and software and not on the displays which is why plenty of last gen cpus for sale with little to no mileage but no monitors.. for consumers it may not be beneficial anymore
