      • do you know when cash rewards will increase their CB now that back to uni is around.

    • *Ineligible for iPhone 14s

    • Any idea what the back to school sale will amount to and if it is definitely happening?

Also wondering what checks apple do for the Education/educators discount.

    AEDT 26/11/2022

    • My bad, my mistake as I copy pasted from last deal lmao. Sorry

  • so crap they dont have iphone 13 pro

  • Combined with discounted gift cards from HCF and used alumni email address to order from education store. Hopefully it all goes through - not sure what checks they do. Need this because high schools mandate these expensive things :(

    • +1

      You’ll likely have no checks.

      Fingers crossed CB works.

    • Wait what? I thought high schools had an open policy for tech stuff unless times have changed?

      • Hang on, are you asking if Apple do education checks? Or something else entirely haha

        • The high school mandate

        • Yeah I'm asking what checks apple do for education pricing ?

      • Not sure what you mean, but last I checked most high schools expect kids to show up with a device with a pricetag that buys you three laptops, and a fruity logo on the back.

      • It depends on the school/dept. Some have recommendations, some explicit devices j must purchase. I remember a mates kids at public school in Melbourne said they needed $2500 surface pros in junior highschool. Being an IT bloke & a dad argued that a $500 acer was much more suitable, but they were steadfast that it was surface pro or nothing.

        • As fellow-IT-bloke, I would strongly agree with you about the fitness for purpose of something cheaper. But $2500 still buys you more Surface than MacBook….
This school insists on Macbook air or pro.

Any idea if it works on refurbs?

  • The black friday sale was the best one (stack with discounted giftcards + apple cashback event). I missed out on the cashreward as i stupidly bought the apple product a week before the black fri without knowing cashreward was likely to up their % cashback on apple. Now, with this deal…..wonder if it is worth to wait the back to school apple event. Might or might not happen, though.

  • If you want to use the app and access edu pricing, just open the app->apple->search au education store and select the one with www.apple.com/au-hed/store

  • Is iphone 13 eligible? Have an edu email ID, not apple ID, how do I navigate buying? At no point in time, it is asking me to login to edu. Will the CR be tracked?

  • I am finalising my iphone 13, can someone kindly tell, I have gone through edu store, did not ask me to login etc. I can pay and the CR are accepted? How do they check that we have valid edu account?

I’ve used my regular yahoo account through the education store no problems
