Yeah, did this the other day for my parents. Referred them to cash rewards, they bought the arc with 12% back, they got a $20 bonus for my referral and I got $40 for the referral.
I hate how they make their bundle deals seem like a deal, but if you add the items Individually it's exactly the same price?

Almost bought the Arc a little while back before I noticed it couldnt do DTS:HD / DTS:X. Real let down.
I don't know a great deal about DTS other than it's a competitor to Dolby Atmos — do most titles support just one or the other, and not both?
Or is that not even the right question to ask, showing my absolute noobishness 😁
The answer is /it depends/ but yes DTS is a competitor dolby/dolby atmos.
Atmos (in my opinion) has won, TV manufactures have dropped support for DTS out of their lineups (more specificly 77 c1 no longer had it), and its not any better then Atmos, but everything supports atmos.
TLDR: its not something you have to worry about, just get the atmos one.
Like Jofzar said, certainly competitor. The real problem is not every movie will have Atmos sound. Especially older titles. And I dont mean 30-40 year old titles. But stuff like 1 year ago since not everything comes with Atmos. If it comes with DTS or the higher X version, you'll have to suffer the unit playing the sound to down sample it to something simple like dolby 5.1 or stereo. This might not sound like a big deal but one of the worst things about down sampling is you lose audio detail, especially spatial audio. I mean if I'm spending a grand or more on audio stuff, I'd like to be able to play everything. Its borderline insulting. Not everything will have Atmos unfortunately.
I managed to get the Arc for $1070 and the One SL for $190 at JB this weekend. Paid for with gift vouchers bought at 15% off. Sonos’ website deal was/is good, but JB will do more for your wallet.
Thanks for the tip! I was toying with the idea of grabbing the IKEA Symfonisk, but at that price (granted on sale and with gift cards), I'd go the One SL too.
I basically just loaded up JB live chat and asked for the best deal over and over. Most people would send me the cart info pretty quickly, but a couple people were open to negotiation. I would just be polite, but persistent, in asking for a better price until they would stand firm after a few minutes of me not writing/responding. Then I took that quote into the store to pay with the GC. Good luck!
Just tried your way, cause I only want the ONE SL so the best they can offer is $205. But have to purchase via an online link and cannot use thrid party giftcard. I only have two TCN giftcard, I took a picture of the quote and going to try my luck tomorrow in the store.

@Frequenter: haha, went to the store near my place and it was out of stock. But I also found that I can just use my TCN gift card to redeem JB voucher online. So back to online chat and ask for another $205 purchase link. $205 is good enough for me cause my $200 TCN gift cards were redeemed by 36000 flybuy points anyway. Thanks for your information, I saved $20 dollars.
