                • @Jake17: Receiving a txt or call is no problem when out of credit, but returning another matter.

@ozhunter68: You don't have to respond. You input it into the system or tell the person on the call. I did a transfer for my brother from iinet to lebara online a few weeks back and he got a text code to input. I'm sure it should be the same for all providers

Edit: looks like Jake17 answered my question in the above post.

Call Boost to do a port over from Telstra.

Hi, I’m currently on a Telstra plan. Do I need to port out of Telstra before I can switch over to a 12 month boost sim?

    OOS :(
Getting anymore of these in OP?

  • I've still got 90 / 140GB left on my current sim - shame no transfer of data or bonus data at the moment but clearly don't need that much with wifi at home and work I guess.
could always ask them about it on the chat when transfer to new sim.

    • Haha,….good luck with that.

  • I bought the $200 kit. I am currently with Belong (who resell Telstra) is this going to be a pain for me to port my number in to Boost?

Anymore coming in stock for $200 sim?

    • Think they were clearing out older stock with short expiry dates, so might have to wait for next batch to get old and hope they again over ordered.

Ported from Boost to Voda/Optus and back to Boost (2 numbers) last week and it was an absolute nightmare.

Online porting didn’t work for either providers (system errors), no phone/online support from either carrier to help. Ended up having to go into store to get ports done.

Then couldn’t port back to Boost straight away, confirmation SMS were being blocked on the first 24 hours.

Finally managed to complete the process after a few days and many hours wasted.

should have just jumped on the online chat and they can transfer it to the new sim.

      • Well,…the way I read the above there was both no Online and Phone support, so my thinking is also no Online chat (as has happened to me too especially scone start of COVID Changes within business and rule changes). But hey, just assuming and I have been wrong before lol.
