  • Anyone know which one would be good for the car? Good suction etc for stubborn odours

Really want the max professional for the stain trapper tool. Seems like this model is a Harvey Normal exclusive 🙄

    • You can buy this Tool for $15 bucks in think on the bissell website. Why is this Tool good?

      • Just checked it's $53 plus postage. Supposedly it's good for pet mess so you don't get nasty material through the pipe and into the main tank. To be honest I don't know how effective it is but I'm buying a Spot Cleaner specifically for pet mess.

2066F is much cheaper at the TGG

  • whats the difference between the red and black?

    • Number of attachments. Black is for car with 3 attachment, red only 1 attachment (worse in the lineup)

  • I bought a SpotClean Turbo about 6 months ago, but the Max looks better with a longer tube and the container for treatment so you don't have to mix water/treatment each time you use it.

I wonder what the suction power is like on the Max compared to the Turbos. The Max is touted as being quiet, but I wonder if that comes at the cost of some suction power.

    • Good question I'm curious about this too. You would assume it has more suction power but who knows. They definitely don't make it easy for consumers to cross shop and compare with the slightly different models other countries have. I cannot find any info on the Max.

    • I got a Max recently and happy with it. Can't speak to the noise as I don't have another to compare to, but suction was adequate.

    • I've done some research and I'm convinced Bissell has made it purposefully difficult to research their products. Like one model heats up the water, another model has more powerful suction another model mixes the formula for you, another model has anti bac formula, another model has additional tools. So why wouldn't you want to have all or at least some of of these great features in one model? Wouldn't you want the anti bac formula with the stain trapper tool if it's specific purpose is to cleannasty materials like pet mess?

And this is just the Australian line up, the UK and US line are different by name and sometimes by feature (not features plural because often it's only one thing that's different). It obviously doesn't help model description on their website is vague.

Why not have a proper tiered product line. F this company i'm just getting the cheapest one.

  • I have a spotclean machine, used it on a small stain on white king fabric lounge….. made it worse by spreading stain outwards (bigger stain ring)….now I have to do the whole lounge

Surely im stuffing something up ha!

    • Carpet cleaner, then agitate with a carpet brush, then use the extractor. Should come up nicely. Watch some car detailing videos like ChrisFix for the best results.

  • Does the max have heat technology like the others? Doesn't seem to mention it anywhere.
