    Finally the oiled version.

  • Are you sure? Website still says $125 - is this store specific? I just bought one of these in the morning.

    • Website says $99 for me. Victoria.

    • Shows as $99 at Keysborough Vic store.

    • I'm in SA and website says $125, strange

      • $125 in NSW

      • I’m S.A too, and I get $99

    • Showing $99 in QLD.

    • Turns out this is a clearance item and the larger stores have decided to clear stock while the smaller stores are maintaining the price. So check around before heading to your local.

  • How many lpm?

Can't see it on the site.

That doesn't look like a Torana

Just rivet a goofy body kit to it and it might!

At least you can tell the grandkids that you had a genuine XU-1 in the shed.

      • Just like a LADA car

        • +1

          We had a lada!

  • I picked up a similar power Ozito one on clearance for 35 bucks a while back

    • +1

And you wrote this here to make us all jealous ha? :)

      • I had to invest another 50 bucks or so for bits and pieces, I already had a spear and Jackson kit for 35 that I picked up, but I got another digital readout tyre inflator for under ten bucks and a kit with a hose for 12 bucks or so from Aldi on clearance.

I guess just letting people know that their e may be stray clearance items around

There wasn't enough stock, was the only one in the shop. Just pays to look out when you are there.

    Thanks OP. Bought one.

  • Is that enough power to use DIY car air tools?

    • Yes, depending on what exactly you want to run.
Powers a rattle gun fine for rotating tyres.

    • Some, but maybe not all. It will be enough, but e.g. If you were using a rattle gun to take all bolts of all 4 wheels off there will be times where you might be waiting for the tank to get back up to pressure. For me I am taking the chance and will see how I go, mainly cos I got mine cheap enough that I can sell it for a profit

    • Enough for a rattle gun? No. Maybe a air wrench, very light sanding and HVLP spray paint gun but that's about it. Air chisels and rattle guns use a ton of air. You'll be waiting for the compressor to cycle after every lug nut. This tank is very small and would have limited uses for a garage.

  • is this better than the new silent ozito range they selling?

    • +1

Hard to tell since Bunnings doesn't list a manual for this cheapo XU1, but the Ozito silent claims 50L FAD which is pretty low, so the XU1 is probably better.
