  Good price, but looks like mostly backorders?

  This would of been ideal, great for study at home but also music production capability.

  Unfortunately just bought HP deal a few weeks ago, not sure I cbf trying to return and ordering this…incase it gets cancelled. Plus it's double the price, CPU is only mildly better but this has 32GB ram!

  So my saveonIT order for the 4k version was cancelled, not a price error but a very small quantity final clearance. (From support chat) The i7 versions look like they had 10 or so in stock yesterday so probably similar or less for all the models, although stock levels across sellers would be different so mmv.

    They're lying. It was an error on the pricefeed from the Distributor Dicker Data.
    Dicker has no stock, never had the stock either and the current leadtime is a few months.
    That laptop is still current, and as a corporate product has a long life with a published roadmap available to all HP resellers. The EOL date for the Power G9 series is June 30.

    All these stores do is take an automated feed from the Distributors, add 1-3% and publish it online automatically. Which is great for them, except when there's a price error upstream in the feeds and these stores end up replicating these errors.
