Hi,

Was looking for a deal on Levovo legion laptops and noticed there is currently 25% off from Lenovo. You can also get an additional 10% back using either cashrewards or Shopback.

    Rip off

  • Ships in 7-8 weeks? Guess they don't feel confident enough in their product to have it lying around….

last time i bought Legion 5i which had this timeframe, it ended up being 3.5 months

what worse is they keep on doing a temp auth charge which will expire and do another charge continuously every 2 weeks till the laptop is fulfilled…

    • It's always been like that for customizable builds since they got to assemble it in China.

      • That was without customising.

        • Hmm well none of the options I saw in the "go to deal" link showed pre-built options, they all say "build your PC"

          • @nenjih: So none are available with a stock configuration? That was my concern.

@scuderiarmani: I guess if you don't further customise them then that's the stock configuration. But at any rate you're right that they aren't lying around in a warehouse in Australia and have to be assembled and shipped from China.

      Ships in 7-8 weeks?

They can do better… "Ships within 10+ weeks". Which, I must say, is a top-tier non-statement.

I was looking at getting a Legion, but if I have to wait that long I may not be in the country. Given that I'm wanting it for the trip that's a bit of a non-starter, and I'm now looking at Asus's lineup, which appear to have the added benefit of the warranty being international.

Still can't justify paying those prices. On the lookout for a RTX 3060 L5P Gen 7. Currently $2196.75, but it's been as low as $1949 around BF. Won't pull the trigger until I see a deal like that plus a decent cashback rate. You would hope with the Gen 8 stuff coming this year, there will be better deals for Gen 7 stuff soon.

I'm sad I wasn't around for the Gen 6 3070 L7i at $2k in December. I highly doubt it will ever be stocked again on eBay.

    • I'm in the same boat, fingers crossed something pops up.

    • I got a gen 6 3070 L7i from that deal and upgraded it with 2x 2TB SSDs and 32GB Ram. It does everything I need without any fuss and don't think I'll upgrade for a few generations.

  • I'm looking forward to the new Lenovo and MSI models announced at CES this year.

  • This any decent looking at a laptop with this performance or a really small compact itx build big enough to fit in a back pack lmao

    • Does your keyboard not give you access to punctuation?

  • I don't think there will be a Lenovo Legion deal for a long while…
