It looks like the touch screen version is only an extra $22

FYI this seller is very good. Great English comprehension (compared to others), understands you clearly and replies thoroughly. Their products also seem to be higher quality than competitors looking at pictures and reviews. Not yet a customer but will be soon with this good discount posted.

    • +1

You can’t tell quality from pictures, you’re just making assumptions.

      • +5

Well I also read and compare reviews and reviewed pictures. You can only go off so much but every bit of detail helps for comparison. AliExpress are also good with dealing with disputes if there’s a discrepancy.

Good to know once you do become a customer and use their products please share your experience here again.

Please let us know your experience after you make a purchase. I purchased an Android car radio from a seller "Srnubi" on AliExp and they were great until I had questions about some issues which I had to Google and fix myself. Their after sales service is terrible.

    • You’ve never purchased from them but have managed to communicate with them enough to gather this insight, interesting.

      • +2

You should see my chat thread with the seller. It’s a whole days worth of questions as they have heaps of products. He was patient enough to answer them all.

      • What's so interesting about it

I honestly dont understand why youre being downvoted. Youve been clear about not purchasing yet and sharing your experience when you contacted the seller.

what's a good use case scenario for this if you dont game on phones/laptops?

    • +1

I use a similar monitor to fix computers, dont have to have a dedicated monitor and dont have to constantly plug into your main setup.

    • +1

I use a similar one as a small, mounted monitor for my NVR.

Slap on a chromecast and save hundreds on an OLED tablet?

I used one of these to dual monitor on a laptop, then I just mounted it on a flexible tablet holder on the desk. Easy to move around and just serves as a mini monitor for youtube/tidal when I'm working

    • Raspberry Pi project maybe?

  • Looks pretty nice

  • It’s not really portable when it needs to be plugged to a power source unless you’re only looking at its small form factor.

4K native res seems weird to me. Would be much better off 1080p.

    • Why do you say that?

      • +4

Serves no benefit on a 13" portable monitor and sucks more power. Makes it harder to mirror or serve 1080p content.

        • What about 15.6"?

  • -2

I bought one of these but still haven't opened it after 6 months so I don't find them very useful

    • +5

Please let us know what else you have not opened so we can avoid those items too.

      • Lol

      • What I meant is I thought it 'd be useful when traveling to connect my Switch and laptop but I never bring it cos I like packing light and it's too much clutter for little benefit. Switch is fine handheld and laptop is big enough at 14" (not much benefit jumping up to 15.6"). I also thought it came with a built in battery but no, so you need a GPO for power. Not sure what most people use these for?

    • +1

You will get maximum benefit if you open it, as maintaining the item inside the packing material will significantly reduce the field of view.

  • Ohh damn thought was 15.6" for $303. 13.3" is a little small

    • What if I told you that you could get the exact same product but 15.6” 4K OLED Touch for USD$230 inclusive of DHL 1 week shipping?

      😉

      • Do you have a link?

        • I can’t post the link it thinks it’s a referral link even tho it’s not

  • I purchased a 4k LCD Touchscreen with battery from this seller around a year ago, but unfortunately when the display arrived, the battery did not work (it would not charge). After raising the issue with the seller, they offered a replacement, however there were some shipping issues when I tried shipping the monitor back. (The package was "lost" by Auspost. They did manage to find the package and return it to me after many months.) I have not tried shipping it back a second time.
Also I noticed there was some dirt which had got between the LCD panel and the glass in front, further indicating some bad quality control in their factory.
I would recommend trying a different brand of portable monitor if possible.

    • That’s sad, so you basically lost money
