    Better than my Heymiix?

    • +8

      Heymix = flamethrower 9000

      • Is it really that bad?

        • My Heymix stopped working after like a few months of use. No fires, but it simply stopped working. Got an Amazon refund

        • +2

My Heymix is working fine after nearly a year of use. Roll the dice and see what happens.

        • You get a crap charger that's mostly likely just going to do. More inconveniently die when you're on holiday, or less likely burn out or damage your device plugged in. All you can really hope for is maybe a refund, depending on where you got it from.

    • You get what you pay for.

  • Good! I love Anker

    • Be sure to fold the prongs first

  • Waiting for GanPrime at this price.

What I bought from Aliexpress for about $28…

Lots on Ali to choose from you may find something better cheaper: the review I read on my suggested good for Asus Phone.

  • Not GAN unfortunately

  • This is GaN version 0.0.

    equipped with foldable prongs

This is what makes this charger unique. Who needs GaN when you have this kind of innovation. I wonder how they fold those angled prongs?

    • +3

I think they just copied the description from the US version. The AU version doesn’t fold (I have the same charger).

      • Thanks. I guess the Americans get all the cool stuff

        • US power plugs have 2 parallel prongs, which makes it easy to fold. It also means you can plug in upside down, something that the AU design specifically makes impossible.

          • @klaw81: Some plugs have polarised pins (different widths), so it’s not always possible

            • @tharlow: Just challenge accepted for some.

Throwing HEYMIX in the mix for its competitive pricing and superb performance. Telling ya, it just can't be beat. 👍

They certainly have been on fire recently

      • They certainly have been on fire recently

        🤣

        • The product is lit AF.

          literally.

  • Of course a day after I paid 80 for my charger for steam deck

    • +2

Be vigilant about condensation on your electronics. I personally wouldn’t risk charging anything on a steam deck

      • +1

I read anker is one of the best third party chargers to use with the deck, I have the original charger coming but it’s a uk imported model , am I better off using that with a euro adapter

        • If you can read, then you’re better off than me

          condensation….steam….

          The joke flew above you.

          • @xoom: I didn’t even realise it left the ground

@tharlow: The joke got clearance from air traffic control.
