48 hours in-store only from when they issue it… and they have 3 business days. Pass. OP, please consider adding to description.

    • You can only claim once per day, and once per receipt. So if you bought multiples to make multiple claims, make sure you submit the claims on different days.

      • +2

Each purchase has to be a different date too

        • That's how I read it also: Only one registration per person per day per day of purchase will be accepted.

Potentially $24+ profit plus six lighters, assuming current special price continues.

Wont be buying bic products after the weber fiasco

Unethical company, changing comp t&c to suit themselves .

  • No! Bought Bic lighter during Weber promo But t&c were changed as I purchased. Returned lighter to Coles for refund.

  • I buy Bic lighters anyway and will participate in this promo for the first time. Didn't know about it last year.
    Will report back.

    This is time sensitive:

@Ehty: To learn not to buy Bic.

      • They're actually (currently) -$4 @Coles under this deal. Will Reject Shop pricematch /s?

3 business days to confirm and 48 hours to redeem at coles… What!?

    • It's a race! I will try to make it. Very short expiry

  • +1

They rejected my claim (unfounded), I told them it's an error on their end and that I am not impressed, they then approved the claim. Won't purchase again.

    • This deal?

      • +1

        Yes.

There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.

  • +3

Yeah nah. Not after last year's s#itshow

  • I have a couple of these in my doomsday prepper kit

  • Anyone get a code? I purchased on Wed and Thu and Fri (today).. nothin.

    • I got mine after 2 days.

    • no response here as well. purchase and submit on wednesday one lighter $5.95

    • I purchased and submitted Wednesday. The terms and conditions say up to three business days so would expect the reward code today

  • Is there any restriction to use this $10 reward code?
Can I use it to buy anything in Coles or just to spend it in BIC products only?

    • You can use it to buy anything at Coles.

  • no response here as well. purchase and submit on Thursday one lighter $5.95

  • just received the reward code today, submitted on Thursday

  • How to use this reward code?

    • I haven't used the reward code yet. thinking to redeem when I am in Coles and have something to buy.

      • Ok. I tried to ask some staff at Coles on how to use this reward code. They were not aware of this at all. So I had to come back.

  • I have tried to redeem my reward code at Coles (thought I will get the $10 code to spend in Coles immediately but it says the $10 code will be sent to my nominated email address within 3 business days). Too much trouble. 3 business days then another 3 business days. no more again :(

    • got the code after contact them.

yes. some rubbish terms here. once input claim code, you need to wait for the email to come, unknowingly when? then once come you pretty much need to go shop straight away.

check email constantly and shop asap. promo suck so much

      • How lobg does it take for you to receive rewards code?

  • Received a generic response twice with ‘entry does not qualify’ even though receipt was an online screenshot and the item was in the photo of their email. Generic and no idea what the specific issue is when everything provides matches their requirements.

    Don’t bother.

  • How long does everyone receive $10 rewards code after submit claim (not registration)? Does it really take 3 business days or quicker? Thanks.

    • -1

In my case three days and I had to follow it up

      • ok, thanks.

        • got it after 6 days but without need to chase. i guess no accurate timeframe when they will come.

it may interest some here, by observation, your barcode that received from the email is a coles return/groceries gift card just same as any physical ones starting 6273 XXXX XXXX XXXX… PIN XXXX. ignore the first bits 980..

if you go to giftcards.com.au type in those details and check balance. it would be able to see the details. status still active. The expiry is 4 years from month of submit of the claim code. Also once you done your purchase it will also show on the docket.

there could be a chance these barcodes we've got from the email is allow to use more than 48 hours. can't guarantee that but worth a try if too much hassle to find something right away in 48hours

          • @shortgum: Thank you very much. I have been wondering what sort of reward code I am going to receive.

It would be great if it is the same as egiftcard. I hope to receive mine by Friday, if not I am not going to bother too much. $10 can be easily used at my local Coles for bread and milk. We have a small Coles within walking distance from our house. So it is convient if I have use my $10 within 48 hours of receiving the code.

Why do they make things so complicated? We use lighter all the time otherwise I won't bother too much.
