It is indeed very decent screwdriver.

This is the same as the aldi one which was $29. I have it and it's been great but not sure its $63 great.

    • Link please. Or is it just in store purchase only?

Was part of ALDI Special Buy - Ferrex 3.6V Li-ion Screwdriver Kit.

Usually comes around once/twice a year (last being back in September 2022)

    • This is the same as the aldi one

I believe there was a slight difference. The ALDI was 3.6V 5/2.5Nm, whereas the WORX is 4V 5/2.5Nm (Might actually be the same but rounded off).

3.6V vs 4V is just marketing. They're both single-series LiPo batteries.

I suspected as much, but wasn't 100% sure.

I remember these use to be <$50 about a year ago.

I've had one for a couple of years, a very sturdy single-speed driver. $60 is probably a bit overpriced for what it is, particularly given Aldi sells it for $30.

    seems kinda expensive

  • The problem with this design is the available length required. Some designs have handle at roughly 45 degrees to the driver allowing use in tighter spaces.

I have the Ozito equivalent which I am very satisfied with. 29.98 everyday price at Bunnings.

  • Soon to be landfill rubbish, buy a Bosch IXO or ant decent brand over this! and you sad suckers who think Ozito is ok … poor fool you!

Use mine 7 days a week for almost 6yrs, was used in my job and now everyday while I build and fix stuff on my property, even grinds my coffee as I'm off grid and have a manual coffee grinder.

    • So have you been screwed over before by cheap tools ?
