reason being … the product would have been cheaper in the last catalogue … that's why the price changed ..

they recently increased the price for all their rhino gear by about 10-15%

if you're in SE Melbourne on Saturday … Autobarn Bayswater will be having a car meet from 6 until 10.30pm (will be later if busy)
There will be cars on display, sound tests, food trucks, give aways … plus they are doing minimum 20% store wide from 6pm
(conditions apply - excludes installation / Opposite Lock branded products, gift cards etc…)
But it's only valid at Autobarn Bayswater after 6pm … so to avoid disappointment… please don't try to get other stores to match it…

the listings change at 11:59:59 pm Melbourne time .. if you are based in a state which isn't on AEDT, that's why it would change earlier …
the listings have a time stamp to change at exactly that time and isn't something that would be taken down earlier by anyone …
if we were to remove it earlier than this time .. then we would be in trouble because the other prices were based on what was in our catalogue .

I've had a Rhino-Rack roof pod for over 20 years and it's still going strong. Used it on 4 different cars now, never had trouble fitting it. The outside is looking a little faded and some slight UV damage but it's structure is otherwise still integral. The only problem I've ever had is one of the hinges is a little dicky (lost a ball bearing out of it) so it doesn't stay propped open on that side; I've enquired with Rhino and they say because it's such an old model they can't replace it any more.
I also lost the key once. An email to Rhino Rack support sorted it out in short order. All I had to do was quote the serial number laser engraved on the lock barrel and a spare set of keys arrived in the post a few days later. That's awesome customer service.
Do you need cross bars or platform to install an awning? Or can just use the rail?
Prorack vs Yakima vs Thule vs Rhino = all the same.
It's why the accessories all fit Thule, Whispbar, Prorack, Yakima, Rhino etc.
The only difference is the brand name on the bar.It's the roof platforms that rhino make which are good. Can't be mounted on SUVs though and they're around $2000 fitted.
Rola is another brand but expensive

The trend is to replace the factory rail with Backbone system for low profile finish, that is another few hundred dollars.

i believe those kit prices come direct from Rhino .. I could be wrong though …
just to let you know .. if you click Add to Cart.. .it adds the individual products at the cheaper price :)but I will raise it with the team to see if there is something that can be done in the future to make it less confusing
