I tried the 450bt in store. It has small earcups. It would be worth trying in store.

Reviews say the earcups on this model are small too

Hardly any padding on the headband as well. I found it terribly uncomfortable overall.

This Vs 1MORE SonoFlow from Amazon ($115)?

      1MORE. Love it.

Been looking at a lot of different headphones around $100 the past few weeks and think the 1MORE do seem the best overall, easy to return with Amazon too. Headphone experience can be more individual preference though, there are a lot of positive reviews for these but they seem better for smaller ears and smaller headsize. The best thing is to try models from different brands in store or a store with a good returns policy.

1more hands down. I am surprised the features they packed for the price.

Thanks for the reviews, I just ordered 1more for $115 with the $25 voucher

Got one for me and my mate, been using them for a couple years. They are horrible in terms of comfort, to the point where they caused pain across the entire left side of my head for some reason, including eye strain and a stinging pain in my ear. I would say I'm an outlier but my mate had a largely similar experience. For the longest time I thought it was just a medical issue, but a couple months ago I got a pair of XM5s to replace them and it's like placing heaven on your head. No pain or discomfort in any capacity, and most of the time I forget I'm even wearing them. That was a massive relief. Overall, I don't recommend these.

Also, in my experience, you can't use them via Bluetooth while charging.

  • Can confirm earcups are small. It doesn't bother me, but my girlfriend used to have a pair and stopped using them as a result.

your girlfriend has bigger ears then you?

      • Than*

        • dunno why my Grammarly didn't pick that one up

If your budget allows, it would be worth getting a Sony or Bose (when there is a deal).

As an example, the XM4 refurb was $211 in this recent deal.

    • thats what i am after, i bought XM4 yesterday, and is this better then XM4 ?

  • i have the 450SE [which is identical, just has additional Alexa]

i have a small head and ears and just after i got them i had a syd > per flight, after 5 hours the head clamp was a bit much, but for less time they are okay [one hour train work commute] the ANC in them is pretty good, the battery is amazing

Ear cups, i had seen comments about them being small, and they really are, they fit round my ears but i would guess these would become 'on ear' headphones for a lot of people

But i picked them up for $120 black friday, so cant complain :)

  • How do these compare to the momentums?

  • Got a set of these for my son last time they were this cheap. They're quite good headphones, but as stated, ear cups are on the small side. I have a pair of 450SE that I bought for myself, I've been comfortable wearing them for 1-1.5 hours at a time (haven't tried longer).

  • So not these then? I'd go bose for sound quality and audio technica for those with less money but still want great sound. Also altec lansing make some great audio equipment too!

    • Which audio technica model?

Man they are still peddling this older model headphone at this price. It's been this price for ages so it's nothing new.

In fact i bought it from JB in May 2022 for $149.

It's a good headphone for the price. For $299 however i wouldn't have bought it.
