[VIC] Anko Work Station USB Light $0.20 @ Kmart, Rosebud

180

Hi guys,

No tag for this on the shelf and no results from Kmart Online. Just keep your eyes open for it if you're visiting a store.

I would not recommend this item be used for vehicles due to vibration damaging the power output socket. Edit when positioning these types of flexible lights, unplug first and bend into shape or at least pinch the USB to minimise wear and tear on the supply socket. (It's a fantastic light but 20c is not worth destroying a USB-A socket on a PC/GPO/Console etc) thanks for the comment from @Nutrino
Works great on the USB output in the kitchen and the Switch console.

Bought it when it was a buck.

Pretty good light, pretty cool light though, preferred warmer light, had no use for it so donated it.

It's cool because it's meant to be used in summer

Have I done it right @jv?

    • Correcto
It produces a white light ~5000k
No flicker at full or dimming so good for photos or video

  • don't worry about JV

Thats random. But thanks for the tip.

    Still too expensive for Anko.

    • What's in a name? Coca-Cola owns PUMP water and Mount Franklin… Do you buy frantelle or get unbranded water from the tap?

Be a bit more informed of products, more so thier content rather than just the brand name

      • You seem really butthurt at Anko criticism. Do you own shares in them?

        • No horse in this race buddy. I don’t think I’ve bought an anko product that has not met my expectations. Like ozito, you will get what you payed for and you can return it at anytime.

Even the most expensive products have their faults and shortcomings. Some of my anko accessories have far outlasted my offical branded ones like Apple, Logitech and Samsung.

My previous point is, you know it’s just water. Right? Do you expect them to be different or better because of a popular or expensive brand?

Their Nintendo switch accessories are the bomb.
$7 controller holder pair is excellent for small and big hands

The $5 Bluetooth keyboard W/touchpad is aluminium, not plastic and is <5mm thick everywhere, until the battery 2xAAA battery receptacle which gives it an identical lean to a USB keyboard with the cheap flimsy flick out stands.

USB strip lights are not so great in colour articulation but very good.

A $10 exercise mat has good quality foam which I've used for sound dampening, heat and impact protection for various projects.

Fatboy74, need to be more careful if you're buying things that are clearly junk.
