I think you have it the other way around, chili oil is basic, but like cornflakes, the simple things in life are often the best.
Sriracha is a sour vinegar-based sauce with garlic, sugar and salt.
This is vegetable oil (sesame) infused with chili. It's more suitable for dishes that need extra heat but not other flavouring.
Reviews say the sesame oil flavour is really prevalent
@TEER3X: Good for japanese dishes like gyoza and ramen. If you want a more chinese style chili oil / sauce then both I and John Cena recommend Lao Gan Ma, which is great on rice dishes. It comes in a few varieties.

Otherwise Tapatio and Frank's Hot Sauce. Not sour, just spicy.
Drizzle of Masterfoods hot chili sauce , same stuff the kebab shops use

Does anyone find this flavourless? It's the same stuff at Japanese restaurants, adding it to ramen seems to do nothing for me.
Not ghost chilli oil hot but did add some chilli flavor for me.
I add this to all my ramen dishes
