Was checking the Dell G15 or the Lenovo ideapad gaming laptops.

I missed the memo. What's so bad about a 3050?
Without even looking up the benchmarks, I have no doubt that 1080p gaming would be fine on a 3050 with reasonably good frame rates for a laptop.
Nothing bad about the 3050. At this price you'd hope for a 3060.

@Siddeals: That is the 2022 version and has the fundamentals fixed, no longer overheats and throttles, the older 2021 had a few issues.

Lastest gen cpu, plus finally a full powered 3060 with mux switch makes for a compelling case, as is the qhd panel. Only problem is single stick ram, but that can be fixed with another ~70$ purchase. Given the less than ideal pre sale pricing on 40 gen laptops in the US. This is a good deal in recent times.
I think it's been like that for a while, I've been looking to replace an old laptop and that one is on my list but I'm still waiting for more 6000 Ryzen laptops to rise to the surface.

I think this is quite fine for a gaming lappy unless you need the battery life that rembrandt offers.

Cancel your order op it’s not a good buy. Either cough up more to go midrange, find/wait/look for a better deal or go without. “It’s expensive been poor” applies to tech too.
