    Thank you OP,
reads like a clearance sale before the new revision with Matter support :/

    https://press.nanoleaf.me/2022/04/01/nanoleaf-and-matter/

The tradeoff was that we had to make the most educated decisions based on the information available at the time when it came to the whispers of that promising future CHIP technology—that would later become Matter. We even designed and produced our Essentials Bulbs and Lightstrips with the intention of them being able to become Matter-compatible. But as Matter continued to develop and grow after the Essentials’ release, eventually it grew to a size that wouldn’t physically fit in the original design.
we could be releasing Matter-compatible lights in 2023 along with all other smart lighting brands (and in fact…we will be doing that too! Our next generation of Nanoleaf Essentials lights to be released will be fully Matter-compatible, along with having their current Thread-enabled capabilities).

  • I believe JB Hi-Fi (and other retailers) are clearing out the current model of Nanoleaf in preparation for the upcoming new models with 'Matter' Compatibility.

Also same price at Bunnings & Officeworks

these products are crap, they always disconnect from google home etc. It's a shame because the light strip is probably the brightest available with smart functionality.

100% agree with this comment I have about $500 worth of the Nanoleaf shapes and a few Nanoleaf e27 bulbs they constantly unlink from wifi and Google home and the app will just show them as offline randomly. When they work they are brilliant but even cheaper wifi lights like Meros perform so much better in terms of connectivity/smart home.

I had these issues for the longest time on Alexa too. No issues with the Lines series, but could never get the Strip to stay connected (it also plagued my iPhones HomeKit connection too).

I will say though a few months back they finally connected and haven’t had an issue since. They may have finally patched this issue on the devices firmware. If you’re still having issues, recommend checking the app for a firmware update to see if it improves.

  • I have been looking at NanoLeaf
are they better then Hue ?
alot of reviews are different and cannot decide either stay with my Hue Eco-system of go to NanoLeaf or both
Also the told the quality is alot worse then Hue

if someone with both let me know, that would be great

I bought the essentially bulbs last time it was on sale but for the life of me I couldn't get them to stay connected. Returned them. Not sure if it was a bad set of bulbs or their general connectivity isn't great.

  • FYi- as per description - LED Distribution21 LED sets per metre (7 sets per 33cm cuttable length)
Considering it has 21 leds per meter means there will lot of dead\dark spots in the lights are not in diffuser or not hidden, Do consider that before purchase.

Can someone who has one advise , Thanks

I have a bunch of these globes and I find they work great!! I do use them over Thread - not Bluetooth
I wonder if the people who have connection issues are using them over Bluetooth (who dont have apple hub like homepod mini or apple tv like I do)
