      • AU$309.98 each if 2 mowers bundled… hmmm, tempting.

  • How many batteries in the box? 1 or 2

    • 1 battery, which is teh only drawback. I'm thinking of buying 2x mowers and keeping the battery from the second mower and putting it on ebay.

  • how do these compare to regular petrol mowers?

  • Been thinking about getting this myself but noticed that the bunnings one is the 37 li so not sure if I want the smaller one, off to read the reviews from other forums….anyone here got 1?

    .

  • I bought one of these a few months back and I definitely don't regret it!! I have only used it a couple of times but the batteries last approx 30-45 mins each charge. Even if the battery does go flat while you are in the middle of mowing, recharge only takes around 60mins.

  • anyone bought a spare blade for one of these ?

  • I have the 37li, the same you get from Bunnings. Great mower and I would recommend it. However if I was buying one from overseas I would look at the 43li that comes with 2 batteries. The batteries for these mowers can also be used for chainsaws, circular saws and drills and at 36 volts should have some serious cordless power.

  • +2

hard to believe that you can get such a single large heavy item delivered from overseas for almost half the price in Australia.. Bunning's lowest prices are just the beginning of a lie!

  • could anyone confirm that this item is deliverable? i.e. someone who has already received it at your door.
I bought the 43 Li (ref:http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/68398) back in June. But a week after Amazon sent me an email stating "the item is undeliverable". I then checked my order status, it displayed my mower was returned to Amazon's warehouse the next day I ordered it. According to other Ozbargainers from the 43Li post, the reason was due to the lithium battery part. Somehow the freight company refused to deliver it.

    Amazon refunded the money btw.

    • I just got this

      Dear Customer,

      Greetings from Amazon.co.uk,

We are writing to let you know that the following item has been sent

then I went into my amazon account and went to tracking.

  • I just bought one, thanks OP. can not wait to try it out.

  • Mines on its way too. I also bought a clone battery off ebay too $90 shipped…
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Battery-Bosch-36V-Li-ion-3-0Ah-He…

My lawn is pretty big, so I pretty much know I will need 2 batteries.

    • Btw that clone battery I bought doesn't charge in the charger, you need the Australian charger apparently.

  • See how we go this time.
I've ordered Rotak43 Li last time & it never arrived
    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/68398
I was asked to re-order 3 time & on all occasions the mower was returned back to Amazon.
In the end I received an email stating that there was no reason why the order should not get through, but by that stage the Amazon stopped shipping Rotak 43 Li & the price is much higher now.
Due to my shoulder injury Rotak seems like a great mower, hope it performs as well as everyone says they do.
    Fingers crossed now.
    Thanks OP.

    • It's looking good so far. Edinburgh-Cologne-Paris-Philadelphia. The issues last time were caused by going through Germany. So far so good.

      • My previous orders never left UK before being returned to Amazon.
Always same message :" We are writing to let you know that one of your packages has been returned to our fulfillment centre as undeliverable"

        Typical tracking message:

        Delivered means returned to Amazon.

    • Mine is in melbourne already

      • You're lucky, for some reason mine landed in NSW. so now it will probably take a week to make the trip down to VIC.

  • How about warranty though? Will Aus Bosch repair or replace if bought from amazon uk?

  • Just tried to order but amazon uk said can't dispatch to this address ! How did everyone else ordered?

    • Sorry turned out I was trying to order something else like the mulcher for it, and tat supplier in amazon can't ship to Aus. So u can order to mower from uk amazon.

  • Mines landed here and already processed through customs! It went on quite a tour of the globe though.

  • Price gone up now to £239.21 incl postage(vat removed)

  • Got mine today and it's much better than I expected. I have a tough ragged lawn and this thing ploughed right through it.

  • I got mine but I am missing the two screws down the bottom to attach the poles.. ahhh

    • They should be in the bag that the instructions came in, not the bag with the handle levers.

  • they wouldn't deliver mine… can I do anything?

    • OK I've just re-ordered and they've promised to adjust the price back to the original. It'll be interesting to see if it goes through this time. Fingers crossed.

  • Update on my order.
Spare blade was delivered last Friday - 27 July.
Mower was due for delivery today - 30 July.
    Waited all day for delivery.
Did not arrive. Called UPS - your mower was off loaded in Germany!!
    Why? - no idea.
When will you deliver it? - no idea.
Do you have it? - yes.
What will happen now? - contact Amazon.
Spoke to Amazon rep - sorry, blah, blah, blah, will look into it.
So for the 4th time looks like a total stuff up.
Maybe something is trying to tell me this mower is not for me….

    • That sux man. Maybe its because of where you live they go through Germany? I did read on wp that Germany was the cause of all the problems due to the batteries. Mine going to VIC avoided Germany.

      • This is the first time the order went through Germany.
All previous ones never made it out of UK.

What sux is UPS updating status as nothing happened. At least last few times they said the item was stopped.
        Today the updated tracking status:

        "Scheduled Delivery:
Monday, 30/07/2012, By End of Day"

        Great job UPS… NOT!

  • just a heads up guys. I got same problem as some of you about Amazon refunding my order then I reordered the larger 43 Li last Thurs and surprisingly it arrived at my door today, so 4 days including the weekend for delivery from UK, amazing! I'm so glad I went with the largest size with dual battery as I just managed my front yard with 2 batteries charged without downtime as waiting would be such a PITA. Goodluck to you all~

My local Mitre10 and Bunnings stores are selling the smaller 37 Li (older generation without Ergoflex handles) for $569 and $597 respectively if you must get this local

  • An update on my saga.
Amazon decided to re-send the mower as so far they had no replies from UPS as to why the mower was off loaded in Germany.
Initially the guy I spoke to thought the lithium batteries were the issue, but previous emails from Amazon rulled that out.
So he decided to send it using different carrier - post, but you've guess it - UPS is handling it again!
Day after new mower was sent the old order started moving again:

Louisville, KY, United States 10/08/2012 14:10 Arrival Scan
Philadelphia, PA, United States 10/08/2012 12:10 Departure Scan

Koeln, Germany 10/08/2012 5:08 Departure Scan
Koeln, Germany 09/08/2012 23:07 Import Scan
Botany, Australia 09/08/2012 19:52 The number of pieces does not match the invoice, waybill, or tracking label

So it looks my original lawnmower will be touring USA now…
    :-)

  • Hi
I saw this same mower in Masters for $299.

  • My replacement lawnmower arrived yesterday…
    The "missing" one did too!
So I have 2 now, will wait & see what Amazon wants to do about it.
